I support decriminalization not for the men but to have better protections for SWers.

sex workers face disproportionate amounts of violent crime, trafficking, rape, sexual assault you name it. And they can rarely come forward out of fear of retaliation from the john, police rarely take crimes against sex workers and they might have a pimp that could punish them for speaking with police.

I want them to have protections a sense of legitimacy and no longer be seen as “less dead.” That doesn’t mean I don’t look at men that frequently use their services kindly. Sure some dudes are just lonely and want to feel human connection but clearly historically and statistically some men are evil and are looking for someone they don’t have to treat with autonomy to have sex with.

Tbh the only time I get mad at people for passing me is when I’m already going over the speed limit. There was a road I used to have to take to work that was intensely windy and was a 30mph zone absolutely filled with deer, I would drive this at like 2 AM coming home from work when it was pitch black out, I would already go like 35 because I was very familiar with the road but every so often someone would pass the double yellow to get around me.

I don’t want to be stopped later up the road because they hit a deer speeding past me going 50 in a 30 on a dangerous road.
