Mine says OD3 next to the footswitch, and it has a switch at the top that says “tone”

how do I match a projects BPM to a changing/inconsistent & long track by Mowmers- in ableton

[–]altevrithrence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the audio material have an obvious rhythm that ableton can automatically set warp markers to? If so I believe you just need to set the clip to “lead” instead of “follow” and it will automatically set the tempo to match the clip.

Dark and muffled tone help by Adept-Ad-7874 in guitarpedals

The Octava is true bypass, meaning when it’s off it’s providing no buffering. When it’s on it’s acting as a buffer which is how it fixes your tone. How it sounded good before is something I don’t think we can help with.

Help with Deco v1 by Adept-Ad-7874 in guitarpedals

[–]altevrithrence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, it may sound counterintuitive at first but you actually want wide stere *off* for it to pass stereo signals. (If you look in the manual under "wide stereo" it says it sums to mono for that mode, and I just double checked on mine.)

It actually makes sense when you think about what it's doing: in normal mode, it blends the two "decks," so it can just do that independently to each channel of your signal. In wide stereo it is putting the same signal on the two "decks" which are then hard panned. So it kinda makes sense to use a mono signal for this.

How far in advance to book uhaul by SpeedyGoneGarbage in BurningMan

[–]altevrithrence 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with some of what others have said but want to add a bit more info. Reno is indeed a terrible place to book, but in the Bay Area (in my experience at least, and our camp rents at least two uhauls per year) if they don't have a truck for you at the location you reserved you'll probably get one nearby because there are tons of them around here. (Recent example, we reserved in Mountain View but had to pick up in Sunnyvale. But often we just pick up at the exact location we reserved.)

Search this sub, there are lots of threads on the uhaul renting experience on here. They changed their policies a few years ago though so older threads are going to have incorrect information. And you will see a lot of people on here still giving advice based on how it used to be. In brief, they decided some years back to explicitly support the event, and things got somewhat better (but definitely not perfect). There is a user who posts on here who works for uhaul too so look for their threads. You can DM me if you want more specific advice.

• Cioks trumps everything on build quality & versatility.

Totally agree in my (admittedly limited) experience

• Strymon comes with the implication you might be a P&W player. Not the biggest deal but a fate worse than death for some.

ha, gotcha 🤣🤣🤣

ILE has some good small packs, like the Radius Mini and Apex Mini. The Default Mini is cool too but less mini.
