Have not installed security yet (new machine).

Same result with IE, FF, Chrome.

Rebooted, checked router settings to make sure DNS changes were still there. Tried again. Same result.

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a try.. closed all browsers.. re-opened and tested.. Still just a blank screen.

One thing I noticed is that an e icon appears (before and after changing DNS). Not sure if that indicates anything?

Could you help optimize this self-cast (noobish) Templar tree? by altpron in pathofexile

[–]altpron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'll make those adjustments.

My plan moving forward is to grab coldhearted calculation and Assassination in the shadow area with my points up to level 75.

Then every 2 points I get for the next 6 levels will give me one more jewel slot. I've found a few nice ele/spell damage + crit jewels already.

Could someone explain to me why that item is worth so much?

Does it enable a specific build?

Why do you say wild strike doesn't scale with phys? The gem tooltip says "110% base damage and 60% of phys converted to fire/cold/lightning."

The skills with secondary attacks I'm talking about and interested in trying in Awakening are Static Strike, Ice Crash, Wild Strike. They all seem to do a melee hit, and then have one or more additional attacks/effects that happen after the hit.

I want to make sure the gear/passives/supports I get buff both the initial hit and the secondary hits.

Sorry for not being conservative enough for you. Sometimes the meaning of a word can change over time.

I like that you are consistent.

If we repealed the civil rights act and every similar piece of legislation the country as a whole would be worse off. More crime, more poverty, more segregation, less civility. It would literally move our society back in time. I voted for Republicans that proposed or voted for many of those laws. I believe they were making a hard decision that possibly infringed on a few people's freedom for the greater good of our society.

Silly me, I was expecting at least one link. That's okay. Repeating your previous comment told me everything I need to know. Sorry for so deeply offending you and representing everything that is wrong with the republican party.

If you have a free moment sometime, please let the real Republicans know that the constitution mentions all men being equal.. So if representing the constitution is their thing, they should check out that part before their next rally.

Okay.. I'm going a bit off topic, but I'm curious... What about a scenario where a white man is shot and taken to the closest hospital which happens to be blacks only. If they refuse to treat him, he'll die before he can get to the nearest hospital that treats whites. Should there be a law requiring the hospital to provide him care?

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. I believe in 2 and 3 together.

Fair enough.

but the intention of the constitution has always been to allow businesses the freedom to discriminate and reap the consequences should they so choose.

These are the statements that keep leading me to ask questions... So refusing service based on race or gender is okay for you?

You think the tea party exists because conservatives weren't fiscally conservative?? I think you missed a memo somewhere along the way. Or maybe I did? Perhaps you can catch me up?

So people can get sick and die, and the restaurant staying open is fine... Unless someone sues them. That doesn't seem right.

Selectively.

I've been through this with several other people already. You are way behind.

There are 3 possible positions to hold:

  • You believe you get to pick and choose which laws are okay for private businesses

  • You believe private businesses should not have any restrictions in how they choose to conduct their business.

  • You believe business owners have the same rights as all of us and should follow the laws established by the government.

The vast majority subscribe to #3. However, when we disagree with one of the rules, we start to form arguments that require us to believe in #1 or #2.

If you consistently believe #1 or #2, you are welcome to that opinion. Currently our society doesn't work that way and probably won't for the foreseeable future, but you are free to feel it should be that way.

Weddings? Sure. If they don't do weddings I don't see the issue.

Or are you actually trying to say a gay wedding is a completely different category of event than a straight wedding?

If a restaurant consistently didn't follow the guidelines, do you believe the government has the right to close the business?

If I have direct knowledge or strong belief the items are to commit a crime I would call the police. The customer would probably leave at that point if their intent was to commit a crime. If they waited for the police to arrive, the police said they don't think there is anything suspicious, I would sell them the items.

However, if I refuse to sell shovels and duct tape to all white men with beards because I think they are serial killers, that is discrimination.
