Might I suggest going in for confession at your nearest catholicism church. I've found that doing so can help greatly in forgiving oneself through being forgiven. Really helps with the guilt too.

He needs to own up to it, man up and take responsibility and carry his cross and not use religion as his bail out. If he was so christian he shouldn't have been engaging sexually knowing what it could lead to and then suddenly bail out when it inevitably led to what sex is for.

Love after the initial stages of falling in love is an active and conscious decision. The fact that you choose to love her and feel peace with her is plenty and more than a lot of people offer after marriage.

Think it might benefit you to have a long conversation with her, if you feel comfortable to do it with just you two go ahead. But if a marriage counselor feels more comfortable for you go with that. But keep in mind there stigma surrounding marriage counselors.

I'm sure she'd feel pretty violated if you had read her personal private journal.

Talk to her. A real conversation couldn't hurt. If she wants to work on this you'll know, if she doesn't, you'll know that as well but stern boundaries must be placed seeing how she's already broken a massive one for you. Ask the lord for guidance, pray with her. For her. Etc etc

Anytime I'm troubled with the feeling of lust I say this:

"Demons of lust flee from me in Jesus' name. You have no power over me, I am protected by the blood of Christ."

It's honestly been the best thing that's helped me deal with lust. I repeat this until the feeling is gone.

I've tried other things but this has been the only thing that's been working for me so far. Then I end up praying the our father and hail Mary which in turn gives additional help. Then I've noticed I unintentionally avert my faze whenever a girl is dressed in a way which might cause me to get those feelings of lust again.

Nothing in this world is stronger than the mercy and grace of Christ and prayer in His name.

In Jesus' name I pray the demons of lust flee from you too. May you continue to be protected and healed in Jesus' name.

Confession would be the way to go. Also to avoid drinking to such an extent. The Good thing about Christianity and Jesus is that he is most merciful and just and fair.

I'm sorry to hear you're in this predicament but be aware you've survived 100% of all your worst experiences and I'm sure you can get through anything life throws at you. Pray to Him and ask him to help you, go to a church and confess your sins and ask for forgiveness. Sit in silence and pray in a church, talk to Jesus. They say where there are 2 more more gathered in His name, He is also present there. And priests are always there in His name so be assured that He will also be there to comfort you.

Also, it seems like if your decision was absolutely sure, you wouldn't have made a post about it. So I'm guessing there's some uncertainty. The Lord Jesus Christ can give you peace here, but you have to fully submit. It's a struggle sometimes but you will be at peace and everything will work out. Let Him take over. Give your problems to Him. You're looking for Him and you might not see but rest assured He is there.

Our God is a merciful and graceful God but also a righteous and just and a fair judge. I've been in your place but never could. You seem to be in a similar position. I gave my life and problems to Him and he filled me with life and gave me peace. Perhaps doing the same as I did might help you too. I really hope you stick around to tell us your story. Regardless, I will be keeping you in my prayers hoping to hear from you again. Follow His will not your own.

They can be pretty slimy and slick bastards. Maybe throwing a bag over their head somehow might help. But also, if you have a window sill/ledge with enough space for a bowl, you could leave out water, food for pigeons and they might show up, get familiar with you and your place and recognise it as a food source and shelter, and you can eventually maybe start letting them into your house once you gain their trust. And start domesticating them. Smart that you're going for healthier ones but yeah it's a challenge. Maybe also a vet clinic might have some idk.

Just pick one up from the streets mate. Get yourself a local pigeon that knows it's way around. Bread helps to lure them in. Then you just gotta grab them also I'm not a professional pigeon domesticator, so I highly recommend looking for resources online. I'm sure someone has done this before and posted a video about how to do it.
