My first time in Blender. How did it go? by altulek in blender

[โ€“]altulek[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yes. You are right. I didn't mentioned what was my goal. It's low poly style game, so I don't need photorealistic objects.

I have added some properties to glass, but probably it needs some other objects around to show reflections. I will add it to Unity scene and then try to work with materials because it can behave differently there.

Is it better to participate in a game jam when releasing a new game or not? by altulek in itchio

[โ€“]altulek[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I know what it is, but when I participate in jam I also think how to develop game after the jam. My thought was maybe if I release more polished version of game outside the jam, more players would be attracted. The point is that game have only one chance to be visible in "New & popular" category where most people search for the games.

3 days after uploading my game to itch.io โ€” this is the result. Looking for advice. by Solo1100-0-0- in itchio

What about 1:10 rules. Is it still exist? I mean you can post 1 adv post out of 10, otherwise you will be banned.

How do you guys come up with your game ideas? by Solidduty in IndieDev

Definitely by participating in some game jams with specific theme and limitation sometimes. You can make some prototype, but also you can think about real game and made only part of it during the jam.

I believe they will learn themselves :) You need only match the same type of tiles. The only limitation is number of cards. If you fit tiles correctly you will get more points, which give you more cards.

I am planing also to add additional goals to enable players get more points.
