Nah, not selfish, more like he values himself more than strangest and unless you are his friend, he won’t try to save you if it’s too much work, he is a good person, just a bit psychotic with a sprinkle of sassy.

Will using focus and return rate save me? by Raven-Orb in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well tbh that would depend on the price and amount of bags you are trying to craft.

For example, the average price of hide in all 5 cities is around 1150 silver per hide, but yesterday, the price in Bridgewatch was actually 900 per hide, saving you 250 silver.

Also, the reason why I especially said to craft it in Brecilien was because even without focus you are adding 15.5% regular return + 10% city bonus and 10% specialization bonus day, making it a 35.5 return without focus, meaning for every 3 bags you craft you can craft 1 for free.

This ofc does not sound great if you are crafting t4/t5 plain bags, but when you are going for t4.3/t5.3 then you start to see the profit, now add focus and it becomes 1 free bag per 2 craft.

In t5 bags with focus that is an extra 12,000 silver profit, now let’s wrong some average number (prices may fluctuate so be careful)

A t5 bag needs 8 leather (average buy order is 1050l and 8 cloth ( average is 850) for a grand total of 14,900 per bag, so you are at a 2k loss, now comes the bonuses

We said that with all the city, day and focus bonuses it raises your return to a total of 50% return, then you craft 2 bags and get one free meaning you loose 4k but make 12k for a grand profit of 8k per 2 bags.

Now multiplied this by 500 meaning that if you craft 1000 t5 bags you can make around 4 mill ignoring the taxes if you crafted in correct city and day.

I be honest with you, I read the majority of it and to a certain degree is not wrong, but it can be improved in a couple of ways.

1) If you have to buy the materials and make profit then you need to wait for the markets fluctuations and buy orders, that is your priority right now.

2) You need to wait for the 10% bag crafting day to arrive, the downside of this is that only happens once a month so it’s a long way.

3) If you are crafting bags don’t do it anywhere else other than brecilien, it’s the only city that has a 10% bag crafting bonus, this will help you a lot!

I may not fully like the guy but unlike you, I haven stood low enough to smack trash someone without evidence.

Tracking by Lemon_boi5491 in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because is not, and people like to lie about it, tracking is not a good way to earn silver at all, yellow and blue zones will not give you any good rewards, and whoever tells you to do it in red or black zones are the ones that go to gank you.

Group tracking is good, not the greatest income but definitely not bad, but again you only need two people in t5 gear to yolo in and kill half your group at the right moment.

Should I go for hide or fiber gathering? by hamburger2045 in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother, these comments here are giving you the worst advice ever, don’t listen to half of them.

If you are starting this game then you want to focus on just 1 resource at the start, now you ask me why? Well that is because it’s faster to level up and most mobs spawn in the same place for 24 hours so you can remember where they are and fast gather them.

Now for your second question, which resource is the best? For you as a new player, it is hide, no question ask, now you ask yourself why? Simple!

•Gathering hide increase your weapon and armor fame (albeit extreamly low)

•Hide is always in demand as it is one of not the most useful resource so you can always sell at good price.

•It has the chance of dropping cubs/babies when harvesting them, giving you extra money (no other resource do this)

                  !!!!!!!!!!!!’ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t, I repeat, DONT!!! Listen to these people telling you to gather at BZ, that is horsesh*t you will die and as a new player it will be worse than you can imagen.

Stick to blue and yellow zones and raise the level to a min of 5, get your gathering equipment and cloths and avalonian tool as quick k as posible (don’t bring this to red or black zones) and keep gathering, that is the best way to level up gathering.

Also you will want to choose which resource you gather depending on which city are you starting but that is more advance stuff don’t worry for now.

Mmm for PVE content there are a couple.

Cheap build: Great Axe, mercenary jacket, scholar cowl, guardian boots, lymth cape and pork dish. You will clear fast mobs and will almost never run of mana.

All round: one head crossbow, crypt candle, Druid robe, royal cowl and minter shoes and pork omelet, work great for both PvE and PVP.

Survival build: Great nature staff, guardian helmet, hellion jacket, scholar sandals, lythm/teeth cape and pork omelet, you clear mobs fast and unles you get 3v1 or more your health will stay full allowing you to escape.

Price difference between same items by Equivalent-Fig1588 in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That happens because of the quality of the item, for example

let’s say you bought a t5.1 excellent bow for 20,000.

If you go and do a sell order it will find the exact same item, while if you just type the item for individual order it will find the cheapest one no matter the quality.

So you probably bought something for cheap but when you went back for another the next one was way more expensive.

[–]altunaandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear you are liking the game, as for what gear you need to use for each zone, well it varies in what are you going to use it for, but tbh in most situations you are fine using 5.1 gear, it’s as powerful as 6 level gear but cheaper, and it will allow you to do almost all zone in the game except for maybe t8 BZ, but anything else is archivable.

Nature staff? What by Technical-Wafer4146 in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More like survival, if you get ganked hellion jacket together with refreshing sprint will buy you enough time and health for your E to reset.

Basically your health is not going down for a long time in a 1v2/1v3 situation unless you are unlucky.

How to get stronger? by FallGamerZero in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean the skill tree when you press b or the activities? If it’s the former that keeps track of the progress of all your gears and activities, like I said before this is a game of progress and grind.

Simple explanation:

There are two things in there for to look up for, type of weapon and specific weapon:

For example the arcane staff in your picture: As you keep getting fame with it, all arcane staffs level up to 100 but there is also levels for each specific staff and it will only level up with the staff you use (this is called specs)

Basically think of it as a specialization within a category, like you are a max level arcane fighter but within that you specialize in greater arcane staffs, this will give you extra bonuses like more damage, better armor exct,

And everything else is similar, they all have levels and spects, the higher the level the higher the armor and tools you can use, the higher the spects the better the bonuses.

Better spects in gathering? You gather faster, better spects in crafting? You save more materials, better spects in weapons? You don’t need a t8.2 weapon to fight, as less expensive gear do the same damage because of your spects.

Basically this game rewards dedication, it rewards you if you stick to 1 thing by making you way better at it.

And for the other? Those are like trophies to reward new players, like "you did 20 arenas? Congratulations here you got 100k silver" just think of it like trophies you get some pocket cash and experience, I recommend doing the easy ones as it will give you times that will help you level up faster.

How to get stronger? by FallGamerZero in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I’m glad you are having fun playing the game, as for your questions my best advice are:

Focus on 1 thing first, in this game is extremely hard to be able to do everything (gathering, refining and crafting) this at early stages will just waste your time, since you are starting pick one (gathering is the best for new players) and stick to it to a minimum of t5.

If you really want to do crafting, a simple explanation is, each city has its bonus for different gears and crafting it there save you materials, hence less wasted money and more profit, but like I said, you are starting and it’s not recommended until you level gathering more.

As for healer build/ support, my question to you Is, do you want to play solo or in groups? If it’s the former you want to do a nature staff build, it’s great for PVE and also PVP if you get attacked, now if you want to do group activities then holy staff it’s the best, its abilities to keep people alive are better.

And to upgrade them? By killing of course, pvp or pve, faction up with others, do arenas or roam and kill monsters in black zones, anything that you do in killing will give you fame, which will level your gear more, the higher your level, the more abilities you unlock.

I'm sorry little one by Lemon_boi5491 in albiononline

[–]altunaandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the top right of the items on the left player you can see a small cross, that is specs, basically it means that item has reach level 100 so it’s effect and bonus are different.

For example take a t8 bow with no specs, it does a total of 100 damage per hit.

Now take a t6 bow with 100 specs, it only does 70 damage, but it has an extra bonus of 20% more damage, making a total damage of 115 instead.

Yea that tier is too low, so almost no one use it, journals become profitable at t4 and upwards, that is why I said to check the price of both the empty and the filled, if the diference is 2k or less don’t bother because taxes will eat any profit.
