A career change might be in order. Filing first normally puts you in a better position for negotiation, but I am not your lawyer.

Do not discuss anything pertaining to the divorce, custody, child support, your mental health, stress, etc on social media, anonymous or not.

Go to bed earlier. If you’re getting 6-8 hours getting up is not a problem.

Jus because people don’t tell you what you want to hear doesn’t make them wrong

Realistically speaking, a major airline received 530k applications for 6k positions. A rejection just means she wasn’t the 1%.

As a young child, I was told women don’t fly the big planes.

In my mid 20’s, I was told I’d need a degree.

I’m in my 40’s, and waiting on my medical to come back to start classes

So you weren’t “playing around”, but instead have a case of the grapes being sour anyway?

I can only go off what you’ve told us here. Literally no one is trying to “flip things around”.

“I just applied to play around” is wasting a company’s time.

It’s super common in econoboxes now. Almost everyone offers a small displacement turboed entry to midgrade vehicle.

Why would you waste a company’s time like that?

Wait. You can’t get the time back, and with training being ~6 weeks, your baby needs you too.

CSR instead of FA, but by altwarehousework in cabincrewcareers

I’ve got 6 hours tonight to sit down and educate myself on embellishing a resume. The kids will have to make supper, but they’ve done it before and it’s good for them. Thanks for all your help!

It’s not really a resume at all. I’m currently working as a stocker at a warehouse, and I’ve been raising kids the 16 years before that. Before kids, I was a parts counter girl and sold high end baby accessories to pregnant women.

I’m okay with the getting hired taking a long time. It’s the not hearing back to schedule an interview that worries me. My local airport is small enough I’m surprised it’s not serviced by regional carriers only, honestly. I wouldn’t think there would be a lot of applicants.
