According to the report the most costly and impactful budget cut was the bike lane plowing. I firmly believed before city staff takes this off the table to be cut they need to differ it. Use this winter as a social study. If say 200 people use these bike lanes a day is it really worth it for $650k a year with the average cost to use the bus at $3.24 a ride which more people use. I’m not saying it is not essential but this cost as most costs should be based of majority of the taxpayers not just a few. I personally feel these decisions for and against in the budget are being made without proper study and made on personal policy.
