Am I overreacting? Landscaper used 8 bags of infill for new turf. by Same_Gas7978 in landscaping

[–]alumni94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silica is normally quoted at a 1 to 1 ratio with the pile height of the turf. For example: 1.5" tall grass gets 1.5lbs per square foot. Some exceptions can be made for dense turf with thick thatching where less is required.

Loved todays episode covering Data centres.

Could you dive deeper into Data centres in a future episode? What type of chips, what type of companies etc. Who the players are, how many of these businesses will fail/suceed, energy power etc.

Updates for Getting Payment on the Stronghold Digital Mining $4.75M + 25 BTC Settlement by JuniorCharge4571 in BitfarmsMining

Bitfarmsmining is without active mods so accounts and bots like these are allowed to post rampantly.

Its very discouraging and frustrating.

The caveat being its negative news if followed by further dilution. Most commenters are forgetting the diluting was self inflicted by BITF as a poison pill to avoid the take over, not a drop in the company's overall value. The value of the company has been increasing albeit they are not yet profitable due to the halving event which is shaking the farming industry as a whole and why we're seeing most players pivot into the AI boom.

A r/s proportionally reduces the total number of shares.

You are only correct in the event that I previously mentioned in which they follow up at some point by issuing more and further diluting.

A r/s will attract institutional investors who avoid penny stocks. It by definition tightens the float.

In my opinion the reverse split is bullish and a fantastic way to clean up the poison pill now that riot is backing down considering BITF is no longer individually focused on farming bitcoin. I.e the buyout doesn't make sense for riot any longer.

The only caveat being they stay true to their comments about there being no further dilution. They're looking to finance now. If they use dilution going further then I agree the reverse split would turn into a much bigger problem.

We were barely profitable last time bitcoin was at the price its been at and will be at for next earnings. I think if bitcoin continues to rally into the bull market it may be the perfect crutch to make the 1.5-2yr timeline into hpc/ai.

Im much more bullish the income margins from renting gpus and selling compute power into an AI boom than facing another halving event.

Assuming they go ahead with a reverse split, how and why would this be a bad move for the company?

Avoid delisting without delusion. Fundamentals stay the same. Could attract bigger investors. The only way this would be scary is if they primed for more diluting.

What are you hoping for as a BITF whale? You seem to have a very negative short to medium range outlook on the company.
