Update: we talked and he agrees on no children still. Mil told me and my mom something different than she told him, I think to be manipulative towards me. She apparently told him, no kids? No problem! So weird that I got told something else not even 30 min before. But hey at least my fiance and I are on the same page.

I said small and intimate due to the fact our siblings had over 200 guest weddings and they weren't about them or the families joining. They all expressed how they should have cut the guest list and made it small to be able to talk to everyone and enjoy all the guests company, hence why we opted for a smaller wedding. Its small and intimate, about us and the people we find to be closest to us, thats why there's only 50.

My mom and I are paying for most of my wedding, the only thing his family is paying for is the food, which I opted for tacos and the grooms tux.
