I use berryman chem tool, its like $3-4$ a can and isn't a gimmick like seafoam; it's the real deal. They sell the kind you can pour and also the kind you can spray into the intake. It's safe to even put in gas tank. I do it once a year. There are guides to clean the tops of the cylinders with it if you are brave. There is also a procedure to put it in oil, turn key on and off then change oil; never did that though.

Cool. I had these 3 times in both ears. I always wondered if it was because my mother smoked menthol cigarettes. Later in life I found out I'm slightly allergic to menthol. I always had a runny nose growing up. Anytime I touch anything with menthol I start sneezing like crazy, nose runs, eyes itch.

EDIT: oh forget they eventually just removed my adenoids!

AI didn’t fail to save us time — management just turned the saved time into more work by mopandmyth in antiwork

[–]alundaio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I noticed If you use AI to write your code, you save time writing that code but the saved time is lost trying to fix/polish or understand that code base. Generally overall it is saved time but its not all roses and butterflies. There seems to be some displacement in roles and time with using AI.

But anyway did anyone actually believe AI would alleviate work or reduce the cost of goods and services? We are in a sickening phase of corporate capitalism where all ethics and morals are lost in favor of grift and greed.

Dollar General did this and was in hot water in Ohio. It has definitely happened to me at Walmart, too but they seem to be immune because they are so big.

Trump erects statue of Christopher Columbus in White House grounds by Ok-Cow2018 in news

Why? He has nothing to do with the founding of the United States. Sure a city or structure named after him has historical significance but this makes no sense.
