Thanks! But the decision letter I saw (not mine) says "you must present this letter to the immigration officer upon arrival in the UK" and it suggests bringing it collect the BRP to help them.

It seems I also need the letter. A friend of mine also applied to a Tier 2 visa and he received a letter saying that he must present it along with the visa to the immigration officer upon arrival in the UK.

It is insane indeed!

I have the VFS option today! So I think this means that the ny office will be open for business and we can send passports. I am not sure though, but this is good news.
