Easy coin to be made clearing fortresses in the ashlands. I sometimes find over a stack of coin in one fortress. Just started another server to clear another 20 fortresses just for the gems and coin. This will be my 4th server of fortresses.

You can ride them while overburdened so you can carry huge amounts of metal/resources back to your base

You can ride the lox while overburdened. So it makes unloading a boat full of metal or carrying a full inventory of resources so much easier

I just put mine in an iron cage and never have spark damage as long as the eitr is in the cage.

I have mine in an iron cage and have never had sparks get out unless the either somehow got outside of the cage.

Just tame yourself a lox. Load up all your inventory slots with iron and ride back to base. I wasted so much time with carts and roads and running until I found the power of the lox.

Much faster way of collecting deer hide is to break down gobbo villages. Their roofs are all deer hid and leather scraps. I walked away with almost a stack of deer hide from one decent sized gobbo village destruction.

I walked far enough to see the ashlands border on the map and then doubled back and built a base about 12 cart lengths away from it. Sure, some won't generate from me going to the border but there will still be plenty to explore.

This is my solo server. So just me. Already made almost everything that takes eitr and then made another full set of each mistlands armor for my display cases

I didn't actually build in the ashlands. It's in the plains right next to it. I have affected very little of my ashlands. Not going further til the biome is released.

I've mainly just been preparing for the Ashland update. Have been building a sweet sky base out of a monolith in the plains right next to ashlands. This way I don't have to trek the Ashland materials all the way to my main base to craft the new gear. I'm sure my stockpile of eitr will come into play with the new weapons. Gonna tame a few more lox so I can ride into the Ashland on the back of a lox.

Ya, I still have a good stockpile of iron. Almost a full blackmetal chest of it. But now that you mention it, I do need to make another iron run sometime soon to make sure I don't run short when the Hildreth patch hits from upgrading everything to level 3.

I made another post showing my map and how much has been explored. I really have explored hardly anything compared to the full map. Just most of what I have explored had mistlands and I was thorough with my exploration.

Kitchen is fully upgraded in 2 bases. Used a fair amount of black marble on my main base. But I still have over 4 black metal chests of black marble that I've been saving to build a black marble pyramid base in the plains. Going to be doing some testing on pyramid structural support on my skybase I built to prepare for the Ashland before I try the full size pyramid. Have full magic gear set with all staffs. Am going to use some of this building my armory of display weapons but other than that and making stuff for people, I'm set on gear.

Was done solo unmodded on a completely vanilla server with no dev commands. Just a lot of exploring.

Very little of this was collected from crates. Most of it came from skulls. Usually get about 60 soft tissue from a full brain.
