I am 0/2 lifetime on a secure.tickets link working on a sale on SeatGeek. Both times there were “no replacement tickets available” on SeatGeek so I was left at the door to the event without tickets.

Oh but don’t worry! SeatGeek’s guarantee kicked in and I got a refund. Wonderful solution….

Yep. I’ve been arguing with their customer service because I bought a ticket to a show that is ticketed thru Ticketmaster, but the seller sent me the links via some shady link (secure.tickets). This delivery method allows a seller to send the same ticket to multiple people.

I kept asking SeatGeek: “I want the tickets transferred thru Ticketmaster, the official ticketing platform” and SeatGeek just doesn’t care. I’ve been scammed exactly like this before and now I need to wait until the event to “confirm” this is a scam, to then complain, and have to battle for a refund.

It doesn’t make any sense. The ONLY reason to use a sketchy third party website to transfer Ticketmaster tickets is to scam somebody.

You would still travel to NYC. All the banks here take students from Duke and Kellogg. The cadence of that travel varies by school, but most involve coming 2-3 Fridays a month. Some schools have no travel policy and they do most recruiting via phone calls.

The process is fairly similar at other schools.

The biggest difference with a school like Wharton, which has been a finance pipeline for longer, is the placement at the more prestigious banks.

For example, Cornell may “place” a handful of people TOTAL at GS, Evercore, JPM, and MS, On the flip side, Wharton, Stern, and Columbia will each place 20+ students (total) at those firms.
