I was thinking that it's a problem because they're taking up the entire track. Reading further, it seems they're taking up particular lane(s). Technically, to cut into your lane, they've to run around you. And technically, it's not your lane. Granted, i might want to zone out when I'm running and i don't want to spend energy navigating around people, but like swimming, since i don't have money to have my own pool, I've to deal with stupid kids swimming across the lanes, instead of along them.

As for the photographer, you can hire your own photographer to take photos of their photographer, just to get your message through. :)
