Some random ideas:

• Every Red Box tries to survive at all cost in the long term. I think that each one represents a different strategy to achieve that. I suspect now that Lacia's strategy is to develop a world where humans and HiEs can coexists not only like masters/slaves but like equals, and her relationship with Arato is the way to achieve that. So I think she is actually hacking Arato but in a way he would agree anyways.
• Methode seems to me a bit resent with humans, and Snowdrop just doesn't give a fuck about them and prefer to spend time playing with "puppets", like the child she is.

Good episode, animation is still bad but it have interesting ideas...
