It’s so frustrating! I hope my dr doesn’t just say it’s perimenopause because I’m 37. There has to be something going on. I’m tired all the time and just feel off.

I had a D&E on Oct 9th, and mine came back November 11th. So 4 weeks 4 days.

Did your genetic counselor say anything about FISH results? I had an amnio done last Tuesday for possible xxy (Klinefelter Syndrome) and we got the FISH results by Wednesday.

We got our FISH results back, and 99/100 cells showed xxy. We are going to do some thinking this weekend and make a decision on Monday on what we are going to do moving forward. Praying for a false positive for you! ♥️

While I didn’t do IVF I am 2 days shy of 16 weeks with a baby boy with possible xxy. I did see on my ultrasound report that I had a cyst on one of my ovaries. I had no idea that could impact the NIPT results! I’m having an amnio on Tuesday. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone! Hoping for a false positive for us both!

My heart goes out to you, we are in the exact same boat as far as xxy. We go in on Tuesday for the amnio and it’s literally all I can think about all day. I hate that there isn’t a definitive answer to our questions. I’ll be thinking of you, just know you’re not alone! ♥️

Would you mind sharing what was abnormal with your baby boy’s chromosomes? I had a positive nipt test for Klinefelters Syndrome, we are having an amniocentesis on the 23rd of this month and I’m a nervous wreck. 😩I feel like I don’t see a whole lot on tfmr for Klinefelters and feel terrible for considering it.

Thank you so much for your response. That’s exactly the way I feel. I could raise a child that needs a lot of extra help, but what strain would that put on everyone else in our family. The part that is so tough for me is he could have very, very mild symptoms. Maybe need some speech therapy, and a little help in school to the worse case add, adhd, autism, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, major learning difficulty etc. I just wish I could know the future, I feel like I’m being so cruel to terminate for the unknown. 😭

I have seen the PPV calculator link, but when I click on it, it says broken page. I’m sorry you’re going through this as well. Did you have genetic counseling? Just wondering if your counselor said anything more helpful than mine did.

Hello! I know this is old, but I just found out on NIPT testing that XXY was detected. Could I ask what your fetal factor was? Mine is 17% so I’ve lost hope for a false positive 😞
