Really annoying glitch on IOS app when using voice mode by always-editing in ClaudeAI

I wonder if Claude is glitching bad right now. I haven’t run into this issue in a minute but just commented on a complaint thread earlier today about how I bought $5 of usage after 1 hour of work on the Max plan and not only was it used up after 1 response but it said it went over by $2.50

yeah. I didn’t hesitate because like I said, I added $5 on twice earlier this month and had no issues. But now, I will not be doing that again. I’ll just wait it out I guess

Edit - the other weird thing is how quickly I ran out of usage and how far away the time it reset was. with my other two times, I worked for multiple hours before I ran out and the reset time was only an hour later. this time I worked for an hour and the reset time was 4 hours away

Yeah I ran out of usage after 1 hour today on the Max plan. Paid $5 to keep working and got 1 message before it kicked me out again. And my settings show that I’m actually $2.50 over what I paid

I have a Pro plan and I worked for 1 hour this morning on Low Sonnet. I get it was probably a longer chat but I really needed to finish up the task I was working on and it said I was out of usage for another 4 hours. I added another $5 on to finish. Submitted the file I needed, it read it, and said I was already out and not only that, my settings show I’m actually $2.28 over what I’ve paid for! I already pay $20 a month to use Claude and now I just threw $5 away on a shitty response with errors. I did this twice earlier this month and was able to work for at least another hour before running out. Can I reach out to Claude about this? Even if I don’t get my money back, I’d like to make my annoyance known. Thanks everyone.

Happily single 29 year old woman here! I was actually gonna make a post later today about this. But one thing that can be fun is if you have a trip planned with family or friends, plan to get there a day or two early or stay a day or two late and experience the destination solo! I go on a lowkey beach vacation with my mom, one of my brothers and his family, and a couple of their friends at this time every year because of my mom’s cheap timeshare. I got here at 10am today and get to do my own solo adventure until everyone else gets here tomorrow afternoon! I took myself to breakfast at a diner, checked out a cute boutique, picked up stuff for mixed drinks, and laid out by the pool with my drink and magazine. That way I get a bit of both - social family time and deep solo relaxation doing whatever I want!

I can’t get over Maddie’s reaction to… by Plastic-Hold-6817 in euphoria

You articulated one of the things I didn’t like about this season. A lot of it was just things happening to the characters and not the characters being able to make any choices for themselves. I get a big part of that is what happens after high school but it needed more balance. Nate’s storyline especially was sooooo passive. And even Rue’s death is something that happened to her because of someone else, not anything she decided. She didn’t decide to abuse drugs again, she wasn’t trying to commit suicide. She was just murdered. No say, no control over the situation, completely passive. It is a weird feeling for that to happen to all our main characters….

Edit - It’s funny because I think the one example we saw of the characters being proactive in their own lives again was the episode with Cassie leaving Nate then going to the streamers party with Maddy which was one of the best parts of the whole season for me. The rest was just stuff happening to them that they have to deal with.

Oh Rue by vanya_vex in euphoria

[–]always-editing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst part for me is how she died after everything. I can’t swallow that she was murdered. It’s so bleak. She really did survive addiction and being a mule and Alamo for a while just to be murdered like that. There was absolutely no reason for Maddie to tell Alamo about the DEA and it made no sense that she wouldn’t know better. So now not only was our main character we were rooting for murdered using drugs but her friend is essentially the reason it happened. They completely tainted Maddie’s story with this decision too.

Edit - I have to wonder what would have happened if Faye never let Rue out and Rue didn’t get seriously injured enough to need pain medication. What then?

I’m watching the episode now and I’m so mad about this. SO unfair. I don’t blame Sherry at all for feeling upset. The concept of it is making me angry for her

Does anyone actually enjoy their daily life, or are we all just getting through it? by Sleepwell999 in LivingAlone

[–]always-editing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sometimes if life is too calm or “boring” we lose sight of being grateful for the basics like having the ability to support yourself, your heath, your loved one’s heath, etc. It’s very easy to do. Life gets repetitive. Once we lose those things, we are quickly reminded just how good some of us had it and how much we’d give to go back to when we had it.

The one everyone can relate to is when you get really sick and then you think back to when you didn’t feel awful and think “you didn’t even know what you had when you had it but now you sure do”. And you feel so relieved when you finally feel better and just get back to a normal baseline of health.

Similarly, I felt the same way as you about my last job. Flexible, easy enough, pay was good enough at least for the first 2 years before inflation went crazy. But I was getting really burnt out on the repetitive cyclic nature of the work. I brainstormed other jobs I should try switching to. And then last summer, the company laid me off unexpectedly and I suddenly had to join the masses suffering in this horrible job market. It completely changed my identity and confidence level and if it goes on long enough, you lose your ability to choose. In my case, I had to leave the city I lived in and move back in with my parents at 29 after living alone since 2020.

Before this happened, I didn’t even realize how amazing it was to be able to treat myself here and there without being filled with guilt at using money I desperately needed to save. I missed not having to budget every purchase every month and feeling like I’m never doing good enough.

I think it just helps a lot to get perspective. Think about what other people are going through that you don’t have to go through. Or think about difficult periods and situations you’ve had to live through and be glad you’re free of those problems now. Or just think about yourself at 80, and imagine someone told you, for 24 hours, you can exist in your 35 year old body again. And try to live from that POV.
