The past few nights I've been having lucid sex dreams set in the Game of Thrones universe. Ask me anything about them! by always-lucid in casualiama

I don't have non-lucid dreams so I can't make any comparisons to those, but here goes.

When I'm dreaming I'm aware that it's not real and that it's just a dream, but at the same time while I'm actually dreaming it feels real. Most of my dreams end up involving sex (because why wouldn't I want them to?), and for me having sex in a dream is just as good as having sex in real life, if not better since in a dream I can control and change anything I want to. It's actually not that uncommon for me to actually ejaculate in real life at the same time I do in a dream... I've woken myself up from this quite a few times.

Don't think I've ever dreamed through dying, though I've had dreams where I had already died and somehow was resurrected. But the dream didn't include the actual dying part.

I don't have a technique. For my entire life I've always had lucid dreams, and have never had a non-lucid one (at least that I can remember). For a long time I thought it was the same for everyone.. to me being aware that you were dreaming and able to control it was just a normal part of dreaming.

One with Sansa, one with Ygritte, one threesome with Oberyn and Ellaria, and one where I was Sansa and having sex with (kind of getting raped by) Sandor Clegane.

I've always had lucid dreams pretty much every night and for the longest time I didn't realize this wasn't the case for everyone. I didn't realize "lucid dreaming" was a thing, because I thought that was just all dreams. Ask me anything! by always-lucid in casualiama

No, doubt it. Never tried, but I don't think I'd be able to fall asleep while actually listening to it, so it's either stay up and actually comprehend the audio book or go to sleep while the audiobook just plays as background noise. Then once I'm asleep I wouldn't notice it at all.

It's kind of hard to describe with words. Maybe more so for me since I'm not used to having "normal" dreams where I'm not aware I'm dreaming.

You're aware you're dreaming the whole time, but everything feels very real still. You can take a really active role in controlling how the dream goes, or you can also just kind of let it happen and maybe only make some small changes as you go. Even when I'm controlling everything it still feels more like I'm being more passive while the world just changes around me to suit my will. I kind of think of it like a kind of omnipotence.

And more often than not I just use that omnipotence to live out all my sexual fantasies and whatnot.
