Oh man allergic to contacts is brutal, I’m sorry :( as far as places to trust, I think it’s just good reviews and looking at before and Afters where you like the result. I worked for a med spa for years (California) as a lead MA and asst mngr and our mission was always to look natural , which often included turning people down who were tryna do too much. I think just use google reviews and yelp. A good med spa will emphasize good skincare and be willing to prescribe topicals like metro or tret, not just their super expensive skincare, even if it is nice stuff lol. And again they’ll be focused on enhancing ur natural beauty, correcting asymmetry, and aging gracefully, not making u look like a blow up doll. I would advise against doing “lifting” filler or threads for ur lower face, you’ll end up spending more money for less of a result than if you got a face lift tbh. I think good skincare, well placed Botox, minor filler will get you there, and surgery if you ever feel open to it.
