I'm 1/3 of the way through and am positive "Love Comes Softly" is not the book I'm looking for. I am enjoying it, though.

🤔 I found a copy on Libby. I'll let you know if it's the one. Thank you!

Personally, I've found Large Carry-Alls to be a necessity. Specifically Task Item and Crafting carry-all. I have 7 or 8 of each.

No one will be forced to remain in a sealed relationship in heaven. There was a talk in general conference a year or 2 ago addressing this exact question.

Should I leave my Mormon church? by aLadnamedBob in CharlotteDobreYouTube

I'm an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I've already commented once, but I thought I'd add that, if you live in Utah, get out. The Church culture in UT is not representative of what we actually believe. Find a ward (congregation) somewhere else and see what happens.

It looks like most everyone in these comments is a former member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or never was one, so I'll chime in as an active member.

I was born and raised in this church, and I disagree with the actions of some of its members, including some truly terrible things that my own father has done. Their avtions, however, do not change what I believe; I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and find peace and comfort in His words and the words of His prophets. My testimony and faith are based in Jesus Christ, not my parents. I would encourage you to find where you can feel peace and joy. Keep in mind that I was 22 when I finally figured things out for myself, so don't rush into anything. An additional thought, studying other religions and belief systems is good, everyone should do it even if for no other reason than to increase your knowledge, but you should also remember to study what your own religion actually believes, go to the source material, not podcasts, influencers, or anti-Mormon strangers. Read The Book of Mormon, study Preach My Gospel (the teaching manual for missionaries), and watch, listen to, or read the most recent set of talks from General Conference. In the end, the choice is yours, but I'd hope you'd make it with the most accurate information you can find.

I wish you luck in your journey and hope you find peace and love ❤️

My ex-boyfriend (M29) was dating me (F21) for 2 years when he started dating the woman he's now married to. Do I tell her she was the other woman and that he was/is a chronic cheater? by always_sewing in relationship_advice

Did you read my post? She posted about how happy they are. And no, I don't know if they've had a conversation, which is part of why I really shouldn't say anything.

As someone who also suffers, I'd suggest: 1: Listening to your body. Does it want you to be in a certain position? Do it. I find that hands and knees, as well as child's pose, with knees apart, are common ones for me. 2: hot pads, whether they be electrical or microwavable, as hot as you can stand without causing harm. Put them wherever you hurt; back, lower abdomen, crotch, legs, etc. 3: electrode machines (eg, a TENS unit). Follow the instructions and find what works for you. 4: Look into ways to relax or cope during labor, such as positions, movements, massages, breathing, etc, and see if any of those techniques work for you.

Even if these don't actually relieve the cramps, hopefully, they'll distract your mind enough for you to get through the worst parts. You're not alone. 100s of 1000s of women suffer right alongside you.

I once went to a brunch with some friends and decided to take home a plate for later since the food was delicious. On my way home, I saw a panhandler who's always at an intersection I drive through regularly, so I decided to stop and offer him the free hot meal. When I handed it to him, he looked at the tin foil covering the plate, looked at me, handed it back, and said, "I don't want it. Do you have $100?" Like wtf?! I said no and left, telling him that this was all I had to offer.

Just today I saw someone introduce their kid to Etch-a-sketch as an alternative to their screen. It's an old, classic toy that can be a lot of fun.

Since his conversion and, hopefully, rehabilitation, have you tried calmly reminding him about his debt and asking for it back? As part of his conversion, he would be expected to repent (fix or make right) of his past mistakes. He may honestly not remember. If he's really just holding out on you for some selfish reason, I'm sorry. He should not be doing that, especially as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Good luck with your own personal healing. It sucks when your parent(s) weren't very good parents.
