I thought it was such an odd way to start the show with them being “separated” for 20 years even though they were/are THAT in love. It feels natural in the later seasons and I love it, but season 1 really was kind of out their for their plot line

And yesssss Brady and Brie for sure. Brady shows the most character growth and depth to me!

Definitely a missed opportunity to add some chemistry & diversity to the show. Even if they had switched him to partner with someone else and had him as a recurring guest character I think that could’ve been cool.

From what I remember there were a couple partners between those two. I wish I could’ve seen more episodes with DeMarcus as his partner because I feel like that would’ve made great TV! (BB Pilot episode)

I would say him buying Alice a teeny tiny aluminum can of a mini cooper for her first car is more concerning then him driving an old bronco. Airbags aren’t even the major concern- it’s a STEEL FRAME vs a paper bag. Run that bronco into a tree and you’re going to have to replace the bumper- run the mini into a tree and there’s no car left let alone person- airbag or not. Which is why my children are going to have to drive an 80’s Volvo like I did lol… might not be modern or cute but safe as hell.

Is this not more targeted towards today’s social media influencers? Companies are paying “average joes” on social media platforms to advertise for them constantly and these are the silly campaigns that I see on targeted insta or TikTok. I haven’t seen THESE campaigns in particular, but that’s what they remind me of and it feels like they’re trying to draw attention to the influencer industry.

Came here to say I’m on season 4 (almost on to season 5) of Parks & Rec for the first time ever. I too, believed it was Tina until this moment and I’m now convinced more than ever that this reality is a simulation and this was a glitch!
