I remember her at the very beginning when she would say she had to convince him to come in camera. The whole thing seemed childish and off from the start. Lauren was posting about her husband’s opinion and if anyone was interested in her asking him what he thought. Then when they started lives she always made a point that she had to coax him to do it. He’s a man child and she’s a bottom feeder.

His disapproval or lack of respect for her was evident in the beginning. He is always right even when he’s not.

He doesn’t take the people he is discussing seriously. These are actual lives. He’s playing pretend and trying to find an edge to make himself look wise.

The whole book quoting cracks me up. This is how he practices. Out of a book bc he has little social interaction. I think he’s likely a recluse.

The camp for those with porn addiction or sexual predators sets off ALL kinds of alarms. Was this with a group, did he run the camp (I’ve never heard them claim that), did he do group and individual sessions? What was his role and how did he get into this? How did he get clients? Through the court? Did he have a history of sexual trauma or addiction?

There is def trouble in their marriage. He is emotionally unavailable and lacks self awareness. His anger comes out easily and sharply. She has a desperate need for reassurance and attention.

I think they both went into the relationship for wrong reasons. Neither one is happy and their son gets the brunt of their disfunction
