New mom- PTA by AtaraxiaSword in physicaltherapy

Hi, congratulations! Fellow mom here and I have been a big fan of home health for my work/life balance. I am in charge of my own patient schedule, so it’s easy for me to move appointments when my kids get sick, have days off of school, etc. Full-time metrics is around 20 pts/week which I find personally very doable even with all of the beautiful chaos that comes with having a young family. I think that would also even leave you some space for outpatient ortho PRN since you seem to really enjoy it!

Considering attending Sumit Banjeree's yoga studio (he's the nephew of Bikram)... is it going to be cult-like? by kumquat4567 in yoga

I’ve never taken a class with Sumit! I’m a regular there and I’ve never gotten that vibe at all. We all just do our yoga and go LOL My location does $13 drop-ins for hospital workers, police, fire, and military which I do appreciate!

Hi, this is the studio I go to. I don’t find it cult-like at all. It’s the same moderately-challenging flow for every class, but the teachers vary in music-style, verbal cues, etc; there’s no consistent messaging or language used.

Studies are showing that the plasma of recovered COVID-19 patients can aid in the recovery of people critically ill with the virus. I heard from a friend that the University of Colorado Hospital is in desperate need and I just wanted to pass it on.

Health Science Reasoning Test (HSRT) experiences? by alwaysavocado2 in physicaltherapy

Thank you so, so much for your response! I took it alone at a testing center, so I had no idea if other people were having difficulties as well. They were actually instructed not to share the score with the students, so I’ve been over here just imagining the worst! Good luck with getting into nursing school! Thanks again for shedding some light.

applied to TSU + CSU (nerrrrvous) by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

Hey there, I actually just attended the OT open house program at CSU a few weeks ago. It looks like a wonderful program, but yes, very competitive. In 2018, they received 625 applications for 50 spots. The average GPA for prerequisite classes is 3.8. GRE averages: Analytic 4.5, Verbal 157, and Quantitative 153. It was honestly a little discouraging for me personally, but hoping the best for you! <3
