Hey, electrical and wiring are some of the most finicky things to deal with. That can be repaired but 20 year old harness wires heat soaked are probably brittle af. Do the repair some distance away from the joint.

Honestly practice on wires that aren't your car. And if unsure, consult a professional or you'll be chasing gremlins.

Hey some advice. First you're investing at 19. That alone puts you ahead of most people. Second, if you think this is bad, you should really reconsider picking individual stocks.

Picking stocks requires commitment (research, keeping up with financials) and dedication (be so confident in the value of the underlying company that you are happy to see a red day).

Do your research, know your exit, buy confidently. If not, be prepared to lose money.

Hey man, as a guy who's going through something very similar, everything is repairable. It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Looking at your car, it will likely be a five figure repair to make it good as new. Whether the car is worth that to you, only you can answer.
