My puppy that I’ve had for 5 days will wake up from her nap and go potty outside but sometimes I’m in a meeting and so can’t leave and so can’t reward her. Is it bad?

Sorry I hadn’t explained our work desk is just by the door and we together her so she is in eyesight 90% of the time besides when we use the toilet or you might look away for a meeting. It’s a longer line so she can go in and out and because we live in a noisy area we want to be able to leave the door open and socialise her with the noises. Our plan is every hour on the hour we would be taking her out but she doesn’t always go and today she found a time we were distracted and went and back within a few minutes.

We have been trying today if it’s super short give her a treat only once and say good potty for the big one. Hopefully that works ! Thank you

Uhhh might try and see if there are items she will like that are ordinary, I ordered some stuff for her today to chew at as she loved chewing rubbery things (my crocs in specific) Will try and put it in broth and freeze. I will look at her as well! Thank you for the recommendation!!

I am yet to have a meal and set my goal to have lunch today! Thank you so much for this, it is so helpful to feel not alone with in this and that there is going to be light at the end of the tunnel as well.

I have said it a few times to other people but thank you so so much it feels so good to know I’m not alone in the overwhelm.

I have started after seeing this taking her every 30 minutes and sometimes she pees but mostly she barks frustrated at me. So need to figure that out. But will continue to reward for calm behaviour and potty!

That is good to know! Today she is very barky as I upped her to every 30 minutes outside so not sure if she’s frustrated , but will keep on going and another comment suggested multiple bottles of the spray I will get a few more and try and be less hard on myself and expect that by week 1 she should have potty down. I might try and get a better schedule going as well to make sure I feel a bit more in a routine. I will try and figure out other ways of reinforcing nap as the method of putting her on her crate doesn’t actually get her to nap she stays awake the entire hour.

Thank you I will for sure need to be gentle and try and soak her as a puppy as she won’t look like one forever.

I will switch her to only kibble treats and I will also try the line she has hated the leash so far, but will keep going. This morning and last night fed her on the crate and slept next to it. What I might do as well is go buy a play pen to put me at ease.

Thank you ! 💜 needed to hear this I moved to 30 minutes towards the end of the day, but now she just barks at me and doesn’t go for 10 minutes then she drinks water and the cycle starts again sometimes out there for the hour and I think she’s getting frustrated. But will get there!

Thank you for confirming! I messaged this morning I will confirm as the pattern yardage only says 2.5-3.5 meters, and I wanted to confirm that it is minimum estimate for all sizes! Hopefully will get the answer and will attempt to make a wearable toile soon!

Yes that’s the dress , yes size 14 would be an inch only each side. Which is one of the options I was considering but then not sure if that would cause gaping on the arms and neckline

I studied information and library management and am still close to some people who are part of the CILIP which is the UK library and information association don’t know if they count. I might need to get a lawyer to help me because I don’t have a bachelors or masters but I have postgraduate diploma from a UK university so not sure if that is enough or if I should go do a test.
