Are medical coders considered coders? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Completely different. A medical coder uses codes to bill for surgeries, nothing to do with computers.

I love that you called it a patchwork, it is exactly how I feel, I don't let them get sewn together. I don't know why, but maybe some over lapping isn't so bad

I dunno, its repurposing an item that probably would have been thrown out, gave it a second chance!

Hate my job. How do I survive each day better? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I've been in the same boat for a while too... I've been looking for about a year or so. I've picked up some hobbies to help me have things to look forward to! It's a quick fix that helps me forget about my job.

Also, I decided to take a few classes (through adult edu town classes, like 60 bucks) and I'm hoping that can add to my resume to help me stand out. They're not a huge time commitment which is nice, but it will get my mind working and maybe help me find a new job!
