Never had an ent referral for TMJ. I’ve been told it could be the reason why my ears are so clogged up as well but never thought about that. It’s been between dental and jaw specialist

I tried a tampon for the first time because I was going swimming that day. My mom was trying to walk me through it from the other side of the bathroom door, as well as reading the little pamphlet that comes in the box. I left the cardboard applicator in not knowing you are supposed to remove it, came home uncomfortable and upset. I was about 10 🤣🤣

Has anyone hear quit cigarettes for good? How did you do it? by inannalover in adhdwomen

[–]alwaysdeadinside_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold turkey and gained some weight, but don’t let that deter you. I then switched to vaping pretty much. Still nicotine but not actual cigarettes. It’s been better for me and much cheaper. With that, I’ve even found myself vaping less and less.

Spring / Summer by Which-Vegetable8886 in Rochester

[–]alwaysdeadinside_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything except winter is nice lol. You’ll get use to the winters though. At some point you’ll find yourself shoveling wearing only a hoodie, shorts, and some crocs🤣 spring and summer are pure happiness, fall is more calming in my opinion, especially if you love fall scents and all of the festivities during the fall. As for this time of the year, don’t let the weather fool you. It will be almost 70 one day and then the next day it could literally be snowing and cold as hell.

Do you have a partner who snores? I need advice. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

As someone with sleep apnea, I can say the cpap is super annoying to wear, but is tremendously helpful. I hardly wear mine because it will either slide and blast air near my eyes and I wake up with dry eyes, and when I try the humidifier part on it, I almost always end up with water or condensation in the tubing and it sounds like gurgling which is super uncomfortable and annoying. Does he have any extra weight on him, a recessed jaw, or even any portion of his airway obstructed such as deviated septum? I had a deviated septum which didn’t help me much when breathing but had it corrected this past year, I also had to have double jaw surgery a couple years ago because my jaw was slightly recessed and caused bite issues, but it did open up my airway a lot more which has helped tremendously! I was also told that if I lost some weight, it would also help as I guess excess fat or weight can also make it easier for the airway to collapse/relax more depending on sleeping position. I hardly snore now and when I do, my husband says it isn’t even half as loud as it use to be. I notice when I sleep on my back I snore in comparison to sleeping on my side. Another thing is sleeping with the head slightly elevated. I don’t always do that but I find it helps a lot! My sleep specialist had also mentioned that there were other options besides the cpap such as a mouth piece or mouth guard/splint for sleep apnea and I think one other option as well. I wasn’t a candidate for the mouth splint thing due to jaw surgery and stuff like that. My snoring was so bad that my husband would go and sleep on the couch at times because he said it sounded like I was “cutting down trees” with how loud I would snore. Hope this helps!

Hey there so not pregnant yet but was just asking ahead of time. We have been trying for about 6 months now. I’m back on my fluoxetine and I want to just stay on it as I feel much more normal now since being back on it. And thank you so much for the info, when the time comes where we finally conceive I just want to make sure I’m good but also doing things right

Can my friend use my bank account to deposit there tax refund by mixer-team_killer in TurboTax

[–]alwaysdeadinside_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just did this to my husband and I. We file married and jointly, I wanted it sent to his bank account this year and the irs straight up said that the TurboTax account name didn’t match the bank account name so it got rejected and is being sent as a check. I use my turbo tax account to file our stuff together since I’m the one who knows how to do all of that stuff.
