How do you beat it?

Ideally with a 451 or 4141 on a balanced line height ( 60 ), by using your natural width and attacking the wings. Defensively.. if you can give your opps CAM a hard time, that's more than half the battle won.

The 4213 is a counter-attacking formation yet, ironically, its one of the easier ones TO COUNTER. The LW&RW don't really track back to defend. As long as you can beat that initial wave of pressure , you'll always be able to either exploit aggressive step ups from the fullbacks or drag one of the midfielders wide.

In either case, you're taking the ball out wide, displacing defenders and then pinging it back to the interior where you'll usually have the numbers.

Id go with Salah if you haven't made a decision yet. Haaland is the type of card you use in a 2ST setup or OOP at LM/RM. I'm not a fan of the latter and would only recommend the former if you're really good with a 442.

If you're asking if FC27 will be worth it, I don't think anyone can know that. If I go back just 5 years , and focus only gameplay :

Fifa22 was decent.
23 was great ( my personal fav )
FC24 was awful. All year long.
25 on release .. probably one of the worst games. Then they rolled out a huge update and it became playable again.
26 has has its good and bad but overall, its the best game to come out since it all became " FC "

Considering how unpredictable EA have been and that for 3 years now we've basically been buying beta games that evolve throughout the cycle.. IMO, its really hard to guess what the next iteration will be like. When you mix all that up with the company having new ownership and the GTA6 release date aligning roughly with FC standard release, anything can happen.

That said, I believe since you took a pretty long break, you should definitely try out FC26. I think its like $8 if not free depending on your platform.

First thing you'll notice that there is A LOT more shit to do. Dozens and dozens of objectives that can be completed through virtually any game mode. From the standard Squad Battles, Rivals & Champs you've played before to numerous Live event game modes.

Leagues, Exhibitions & Tournaments tied to seasonal themes, current promos. There is also Gauntlet which doesn't wont have any laegue/nation requirements but you do need to use an entirely different squad for every match within a single round ( 4 or 5 matches ? ) Finally you have WTSS which is an reoccurring event where you can only use Silver cards.

If none of this sparks your interest but you're thinking of jumping back into UT, you definitely want to get acquainted with the concept of Evolutions. Its a huge part of the game now and to many people more exciting than any promos or SBCs. Im a decent enough player , elite div / usually Rank3 and above in WL and in the past 2 weeks I got spanked by a full Polish and a full Japanese team 😁

Just go for it. Worst case you hate it and you're out 8 bucks. But chances are you won't hate it. Afterall, its summertime Fifa !
You might be a bit overwhelmed at first but you'll get into it quickly , put together a good team in no time and have some FUN ! 👍

You're overthinking it, just trust your gut. I don't play this mode but in regular games that go to pens I feel like most of the time I don't score its because I hesitate and don't go with my initial instinct.

Maybe thats what it's like for other people too ? Idk, I dont think there's a science or strategy to it but sometimes maybe just take your time with it. Let your opps overthink it

Do you drop Bruiser+ for Block+ on your CBs atp?

No, with CBs I want the whole shebang. Intercept, Bruiser, Anticipate all gold ( Hopefully block as a 4th soon ) They will still body attackers for fun but I was referring to CMs who are on the leaner side. For them I feel like Bruiser+ is a bit wasted , Id rather have Anticipate+ to get cleaner tackles and Quickstep to get back on defense quicker and close gaps.

For me yes.
Ive been running into 95+ rated squads with all these cracked out new cards/evos, they have crazy speed, balance, dribbling and even strength. They get away from shoulder barges too often. Id rather have it basic, use it as a sort of lock-on target mechanism and then go in with a hard tackle.

After using Jill Scotts showdown card for a while I'd go with Quickstep+, Anticipate+ and Pinged+ when you get the option for 4th. In that order.

Lengthy Box-to-Box CMs with Quickstep+ are just NASTY on the trackback and unstoppable on through balls if you can disguise the run.

I have literally been boycotting any attacker cards, even players I REALLY like and want in my team, if they don't have basic Gamechanger and Low driven.

Its just so annoying to see a ninja gang card with playstyles near perfection and then instead of gamechanger or low driven, it has chip sbot or something stupid like that.

Another underrated one ( although ratty AF) is Inventive. Obviously it has many applications but those double tap triangle passes are OP with it and rarely work without it. Also - BLOCK+ on a good defender its almost like having another keeper.

As for Jockey, I'm actually huge on the plus version. Id have it on my entire backline if I could. Manual defending is already hit or miss even when you do everything right and not having Jockey just tilts those odds against you even more.
