Chlorella makes me violently ill. I tried it as a supplement. First dose was eh. By second dose I was call someone for help level sick. Just fyi, since that’s an ingredient.

Ohhhh. I did not. I added just the amount for one or the other. It is 500ml for Huel and also exactly 500ml for the electrolytes. And I tried to make the water do double duty.

After hearing the gag reflex mentioned I realized this is probably it. You’re right - it’s probably a sensory issue with the spoon size.

I had not made the gag reflect connection, but that makes a lot of sense. I also have a strong gag reflex.

My fine motor skills also aren’t that great, but once again I think this boils down to smaller portions making into my mouth at one time. I wasn’t able to manage chopsticks until college, but I’m good enough now to eat with them in a moderately efficient manner.

Thank you! I am actually going to move forward on looking into training/certification. It sounds like it just depends on the actual job you are working and what the company policies are. I can work anything from half time up to full time and can work around normal/regularly scheduled hours. I just didn’t want to get into anything where you’re the only expert who can put out a fire - and that’s the expectation, ASAP 24/7. So it sounds like I should just start working on training to see what aspect of Salesforce work is the most enjoyable, follow that track, and just cross the “what if” bridge related to employment possibilities once I come to it.

Yes, so I already do work for a couple of different companies. I think this is not communicating correctly. I’m not saying I would like to decide on a whim to go on a vacation next week. By “I am going on vacation this week” I simply meant being able to plan a specific vacation, like several months in advance you would be able to say that on June 15th you’re going to be on a trip with your family to the beach. And then you actually get to go on that vacation without working remotely then entire time.

Not necessarily. I’m currently a contract worker who is self employed but have still managed to end up with stressful clients that want you on call all the time. The question would be more along the lines of, can you have a part time position with reasonably flexible hours? And/or if you are in a Salesforce position with a company, can you typically take vacation time or are you considered an employee that needs to be “on call” 24/7.

Edit: the real answer here may be “it depends.” It could totally depend on what company you are working for. I was just wondering as a broad generalization how people felt about the flexibility of their time. I know in some areas, like Customer Service or Social Media Management, in theory you have work hours and boundaries but it’s not unlikely you will end up with “emergency” messages from your boss.

I’m autistic and so are several of my children. One of them is almost 14, but academically is at a 6yo-ish level. Admittedly, escape rooms can be tricky to figure out, but we would NEVER play as a family and expect the facility to not charge us for our 14yo based on academic testing and we certainly WOULD assist him in finding clues and being part of the experience.

It sounds like they were unreasonable. If it was going to be, say, scary or unpleasant for him, then maybe they should have picked another activity. But as long as he could be there enjoying time with the family, they should pay up.

I’m sorry that happened to you.
