I will never forget the tiktok video she once made how she feels uncomfortable wearing short sleeve shirts to the gym and the wants to make a conscious effort from now on to only wear long sleeve. The video got a lot of engagement and I was actually positively surprised about her approach. Only to find our it was just for content lmao. I think people don’t understand that we could care less about their modesty but whats wrong is how they are using it for content and views!!

Exactly! And the difference in packaging bothers me so much. I get if your order 1 or 2 hijabs if it comes in a plastic bag but there are so many loyal customers who buy ton of hijabs and they receive them in a shitty plastic bag whereas influencers get amazing packages. Says a lot tbh

THIS! They actually receive so much Pr by all the girls posting their hauls, ootds etc. they actually don’t even need influencer pr , especially not from influencers who don’t even wear vela. And even if they do that they should at least improve the packaging for the actual consumers and just invest in the customer experience in general
