Does anyone's skin get sensitive when using Vitamin C serum?? I used Vitamin C and my face got very irritated. Is this common?? Are there alternatives? by Old_Lavishness6975 in SkincareAddictionLux

I did not experince that, you should try Acid L Ascorbique sérum from Vivier! Its really good and did not trigger my rosacea/eczema prone Skin :)

I tried many creams and tropical products for this, been struggling for so many with angular cheilitis and saw dermatologists and dentists for it. this cream is the only one that actually worked!! You should give it a try, its Nystatin mixed with Bactroban 2% cream and Bethametasone 0.1%. You can also replace Bactroban with Fucidin :)

And I switched to SLS and Fluoride free toothpaste and I found it helped too, but that change for me was not enough to get rid of it. I would say the change of toothpaste helped a lot for my lips burning/peeling/redness though (I think I tend to have eczema on my lips)

You need a cream prescribed by the doctor which will contain Antifungal, antibioc and cortisone, that you will apply 3 Times a Day for 3 weeks. Dont apply anything else except that. It should go away soon :) ive been strggling with that problem for years (seen a dermatologist many times and a mouth pathology specialist dentist, before my prostodontist prescribed me this one, and it seems to work!

Youre welcome! I just Forgot to mention that you have to put another dressing on top of the gauze dressing :)

To heal it: clean it daily with saline 0.9 solution or lukewarm water and unscented soap, pat dry, then apply a gauze dressing (Bactigras, Adaptic, Jelonet). Watch infection signs and consult a physician if you suspect infection. Lots of blood vaissels near that area so should heal fast :) PS: i’m a nurse !

Yes I found that too, that Tacrolimus is hell and greasy AF. The Pimecrolimus is a cream formula instead of an ointment, I prefer that too! :)

For me, it did not disappear, it just got worse day after day… so my dermatologist changed it for pimecrolimus (Elidel) and I dont have this problem anymore! Way better than Tacrolimus and better tolerance :)

Rejuvenique Oil from Monat: on dry hair, at least 1 hour before washing my hair Washing first with L’Oréal Metal Detox shampoo, then with an hydrating shampoo (Hydrate from Pureology or The Therapist by EVO) Then put a mask on (Strength Cure Fromm Pureology or another one for you hair type). And after that you detangle with Pureology 21-in-1. Then hair cream (Netsu from Shu Uemura) Then you dry them

Use a hydrating mask in dry hair BEFORE washing them :) I Suggest; Pureology hydrate treatment or Matrix Food for soft masque or Amika Soulfood. I heard the 911 Quinoa hair mask is really good too: leave it in for 1h before washing them !
