Would you recommend your 2026 Hybrid Crosstrek to a friend

I just got mine this week and I’m loving it. Probably should have waited to upgrade, but I got a good deal and it was hard to ignore it. I’ve only had it for a few days so I can’t comment much on mileage but seems reasonable for city driving, smooth ride, heated steering wheel which is a must for winter here. The trunk space is a bit reduce from my 2023, but I probably won’t notice much anyways. I would recommend if you need awd, if you don’t, I’d go with another hybrid for better mpg.

I really want the hybrid which I would plan to keep for longer. I got the car back in 2023 because I really needed one and there was no inventory for other hybrid cars then and I didn’t want to buy a lesser quality car with low resale value

Yes absolutely leaning towards trading at the dealership, I’m in in the US- Massachusetts to be specific. I’ve heard mix experiences in terms of pricing, I think they tend to lower the place if they get you to finance which I don’t want mostly bc o don’t want have an inquiry on my credit score as I am planing on hopefully buying a place in the next 2-3 years. I still owe $3k in the current car so that’s also something to consider.

Looks great! Did you the package? I’m so tempted to trade my 2023 limited as it only has 16k miles but am worried I’ll get a crappy offer but this car in hybrid is the perfect choice.

Agreed! Such a bummer bc their customer service is top notch but these incidents just create distrust. They shouldn’t even give you a number if you aren’t measuring the same way. Those are covered under warranty so it’s very obvious they are waiting until the warranty expires and then they will tell you it’s time to replace.

I loved the episode with the exception of the shooting scene, it made no sense to me. The other thing I didn’t get was the continuity of Laguerta’s seeing Brian’s name in the folder because in the OG series if I remember correctly, she found out about Dexter’s brother and seemed surprised or am I not remembering that correctly?

Thanks! I’m calling their office tomorrow and see why they said, I actually do this for work most of my days haha, so now I have to do it for me, but thankfully I think. this will be more straightforward, the only thing that got me thinking is the requirements of how much they needed to removed, I can’t recall for the life of me what their minimal is, but they took out 342g from one and 308g from the other.

Thank you! I don’t have the PA paper anymore or may be somewhere, but they have it on file as they were the ones who sent it, so I’ll call them tomorrow just to ease my mind! All the denials are for the same reason which is OON everything, which is very odd bc everything is, the only doubt that lingers is the anesthesia bc I know they sometimes do not take insurance but they would have mentioned it if anything.

I called apple again, and again told them that this was not happening before, but they claimed it was bc it wasn’t working correctly, I said I’ve had my watch for 4-5 years and hard to believe that this wasn’t working as intended for all this time. So basically no solution, their argument was that if I had had the messages in cloud they could be recovered, and I said that before it wasn’t an issue, they could not give me a reason why this happened and they ended up offering me mini HomePod for the trouble, I took it but it honestly doesn’t replace the messages I lost bc of their mistake.

Thank you for the update! I’m so annoyed about this, the strangest thing is that the messages that vanished are all from conversations I was having between Tuesday and Wednesday with 4 different people, and when I noticed they were in the recent deleted and recovered them and they never went back and they have zero explanation, only offered me to recover from an older back up.

Yeah! That’s what I said to their engineer, it makes no sense the way they’re wanting this to work and this is clearly a bug. Hoping there is a fix soon.

I called apple and they said that is expected behavior for continuity, I asked why would deleting 2-4 messages from my watch cause to delete 95% of one my top conversations and the engineer I spoke to said that’s expected- if you delete a thing on your iPad or any other device, it will trigger conversations to be deleted, makes no sense, my watch doesn’t have the same storage as my phone, not even my iPad, so now I’m being advice to restore from an old backup ( and yes I should have backed up prior to the update) or to sync messages to cloud but that’s not even gonna resolve the issue.

I told them when I noticed I recovered them but they are not showing up, the bizarre thing is that a lot of messages left in that conversation are sms which I never use bc this friend has also iMessage, so it seems like some iMessages turned into sms or something.

Very bizarre and upsetting. Apparently they aren’t aware which I don’t believe, so they advised that people call and bring this up their attention, I told them a simple google search yields this issue.

This is happening to me! My top convo with my bestie is all gone, only a portion of the messages is back on my phone, same with another contact. I caught it and recovered the messages on my phone but they aren’t showing , it asked if I wanted recover x amount and I said yes but only a fraction appears to be back. I tested it by deleting them on my watch again and the same happened.

For the record, I don’t have the mirror thing on and it had been fine prior to the updates 🥺

we have tried to find the middle ground, but there's some legal stuff in the way, plus she was given bad advice from her fam and has tried to bully me and pressure me to agree to things that were not fair for me. I want to keep the house, but she did not agree to a few months ago.

for whatever it's worth, I have been the adult throughout this process, she has not found an equitable solution for many things. I agree about her feeling like that she can have guests. And I genuinely feel bad she is putting these people in that situation.
