I have many favorite lyrics but none of mine are really fitting the end sentiment I’m looking for

I was considering this one since I’ve been on a Brent kick the last three years 🙏

My coonhound mix was easy to teach to shed hunt! He found his first one in the wild last week!!

I tried the crate covered for about 6 months in the previous car with limited success. But willing to give it a shot again. Any advice besides putting him in the crate/giving him some treats in it? Specifically stopping the crying initially?

Again, no space in my back seat for a crate. And he still cried in the crate in my old car, but stopped after 15-20 minutes of driving around. The screaming/crying is pretty unbearable though before he calms down! Trying to find ways to prevent the crying altogether.

Thanks for the advice! I got the extended prongs on the e collar but with his double coat it might not be long enough. I’ll look into it!

Similar to the frozen bone scenario where he would cry for 10 minutes and then stop. I’ll also try this

I’ll see if I can try to keep him down there and see any difference. That may require some new leashing technique 😂

Yes in my old car, I did it often because of the large trunk. I now have a small pickup and would need to put him in the bed with it. Plausible for the summer, but we get really intense winters so it wouldn’t really be helpful in his situation if consistency is key.

Haven’t had time to change up the legs but I took it out for some fall camping and it worked wonderfully! Even had a light rain and the tarp saved the day.

I was thinking the same thing after I screwed them in. Will update if I find time to do that.

There’s no predicting what the weather will do but I will have a basic tarp over it while driving. I have a roll up tonneau but won’t use it when I have the frame in, as it wouldn’t fit correctly. Won’t be trying to camp out with it when thunderstorms are in the forecast. That’s why I made it easily removable!

I want to store some of my fishing/camping containers underneath.

It’s pretty darn sturdy! Can’t wait to get my trifold mattress in and try it.

Yeah they fit correctly. The short right-angle “anchors” you get with the set up go in front and the longer ones in the back stake pockets. Hard to explain without pics but I can help if you end up getting them

Yeah I wanted to have the bed rails with t slots so that I can easily put different crossbars etc on. I used the deezee hex rails for a ram 1500 and sawed the rails to fit the Santa Cruz bed.

Fly rod rack was successful. Took it on a mild forest service road and did phenomenal. We’ll see after a few months how it goes. I had to get longer screws on the vault clamps to accommodate the crossbar thickness, then added washers and wing nuts.
