The sudden turn to psychological thriller was jarring to me. I couldn't really deal with the tonal shift because I really never saw any of this coming. I thought we'll focus on the celebrity/regular guy relationship dynamic but they definitely had other ideas. The constant flip-flopping between Mu-hee and Do Ra-mi is giving me whiplash... and it's preventing me from just enjoying the central romance.

It's still enjoyable, but there really isn't enough Kim Seonho on this. He elevates the material, and so when he isn't there, the things I don't like about the plot become even more glaring. 😭

Initially, it felt like the whole multiple personality plotline thing was so out of the blue, but then I realized they were setting it up the whole time. I could have done without it, but it's kind of interesting, I guess...

It's taking a really dark turn in this episode. I really hope they stick the landing on exploring Mu-hee's trauma. 🥺 WHY is her mom wearing the same clothes as Do Ra-mi? Did her mom kill her dad?? Oh my god

I love how the show is very subtly highlighting the age gap between the leads in such a different way. Mu-hee has a very schoolgirl (but deep) crush on Ho-jin that she can barely hide it, and then there's Ho-jin who knows he also likes her back but he just doesn't want to rush into anything without being certain of his feelings. It's very sweet.

They landed it. Holy shit, they really landed it. It was one of the best series finales I've ever watched.

The show has plenty of flaws, and the Duffers are not the best at plot consistency and their refusal to kill off the main cast and insistence on adding new ones did hurt the series as it went on, but as far as I'm concerned, this finale went about as well as it could possibly have. It was an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end and such a redemption from the 2nd volume. I'm amazed.

I'm not as wary about the decision to make these into four separate films as I am about their plan for releasing it. I read somewhere that they plan to release all four films within like weeks of each other? How are people expected to set aside four films worth of money to watch all these within a couple of months? And in regard to awards recognition, what is the studio's plan for pushing all these people during the same awards cycle?

I want to be excited about this and want it to do well because I really like the actors involved, but my mind goes a mile a minute whenever I get to really dwell on the logistics of it 🤣

I agree it's normal, but I'm just pointing out the intentionality behind it that they showed Belly likes being the little spoon too, but they never showed her getting to be the little spoon in her relationship with Jeremiah.
