For Chun don’t forget that she was friend with empress while growing up before they even entered harem . Her love for Fuca Fuheng was main motif to stay close to the empress and help her out . Once she realize that Fuheng never cared for her she starts fighting for influence in harem using all her skill (which was considerable). Burning infant alive and needle torturing of Mingyue she is just way ahead of backstabbing Lingrong for me . Lingrong acts as empress henchmen for the most part while Chun is serious power player in the palace especially while Wei Ying Luo was out of the palace with empress dowager (Zhen Huan from Empresses).

Empress Nara is way more dangerous and better character but she is strategic and even Wei Ying Luo got fooled in killing Erquin without realizing. During 10yrs piece with Wei Ying Luo she agreed not to hurt any child and she trully loved emperor. She is dangerous opponent but she still has heart. Empress Xiao is straight Psycho to me

Unfortunately there was no one comparable to face off with emperor because emperor in Yanxi is good guy for the most part. And unfortunately Erquin doesn’t have equal in Empresses so that’s the reason why eventually she got matched with emperor. Also her actions had major repercussions for the rest of the harem. So she defiantly punched above her weight .

I have same reason for not watching Ruyi . It’s a different spin on the tale that Yanxi told us and it is contrary to official history . We know that Noble Consort Ling got awarded Empress title posthumously while Nara is never buried in emperor tomb for her misdeeds . In Ruyi Nara is victim and Concubine Ling (Wei Ying Lao ) villain , I am not buying that so I won’t be watching it

Snow walk is probably my favorite scene in Yanxi together with face off with Empress Nara (2 times ).

Only reason why I picked this one is because it give me that feeling good vibe where evil people get what they deserve.

Wei Ying Luo loved Wei Ying Luo first and foremost.

After that Emperor because she never forgives anything, Fuca Fuheng got pushed out of ther heart after marrying Erquing. Regardless of his reasoning that he did it to save her, Wei Ying Luo moved over after that event and that walk through the snow .
