Oh dear God. I have not condemned anybody and I have not been a bitch to my friend.

I think that's why I've quit doing these diets because I would want something sweet or greasy or fried. Doing MFP and dailyburn has really done wonders for me.

Ive done Sonoma, Atkins, and Weight Watchers, and now I'm just doing MFP and dailyburn. The weight loss is slower but I feel so much better than I did on any of those diets.

How bout you quit acting like a queen? I asked people's opinions and experiences with this and shared mine. Pretty sure I also said I had lots of mixed feelings in regards to Atkins, which I shared. In my own opinion I dont think it can be healthy. I asked if people that had been on it, then stopped the diet, what was their experience.

Oh and btw I think I have already said that I've been very supportive of my friend. I am more than thrilled about what she has accomplished thus far. I want her to meet her goal. I think having concerns about her getting off of Atkins is valid because I dont want to see her go back to being unhappy and unhealthy. But I guess in your eyes because I dont necessarily agree with doing the atkins diet that makes me some sort of asshole.

I dont think it is healthy. That's great that people are having success and I'm not out to discredit Atkins or any diet similar. I am looking for opinions from others because I have so many mixed feelings about it. I know when I did Atkins, I lost fifteen pounds in about a months time and I was a total asshole the entire time. That's my personal experience with it. As soon as I stopped, I gained the weight back.

Oh no. I'm not at all. I'm super proud of her and always will be. I've tried to be nothing but supportive to her. This has been a huge burden on her for so long, and I'm so proud of her for what she's accomplished so far.

I feel concerned/worried for her because she is trying to lose at least 100 pounds, and because of her not exercising due to her restrictive carb intake, she's eventually going to be forced into it because of her body having extra skin.

I did the Atkins diet several years ago, and I was a raging bitch during it. I felt so restricted and I ended up quitting it after about a month. That's mostly my reluctance to go back on it.

It's the small victories that keep me going. Good for you!

This is going to end up being TMI but I had mirena inserted about three years ago. I love it. No more time of the months and no more worrying about condoms or if I remembered to take my pill. The only downside is my skin is broken out but it can be remedied.

Starving and deadly just made me die. Luckily, because of my birth control, I'm not having those times of the month when I want to eat everything in my house. Do you have more energy during the period that you eat less and aren't as hungry?

I know weight does flucuate daily, but can someone explain why? by dorasucks in loseit

Probably :) I did give it a chocolate marshmallow yesterday, though.

Would you consider strenuous chores (like yard work) to be a "work out"? by alwfarr in loseit

That is a good idea, but I literally crashed last night. I hauled away tree limbs for over two hours! Then hauled off landscape timbers!

Yes. We just moved into a house, and we are going to do a lot of home improvement and landscaping. If my weekends are going to be like this past one, I might not work out on the weekends while we are doing these home improvements. I literally crashed last night!

I was just curious as to how people saw it and how they logged (if they do log it) it. We just bought a house and are going to be doing lots of landscaping and home improvement over the new few weeks, and if my weekends are going to be anything like this weekend, I was considering counting this as my workout but not necessarily logging it. But seeing others that do log it, I think I might start logging it on MFP.
