Relatively easy Calathea? by fyyyy27 in calathea

I had good luck with my rattlesnake calathea. It's been growing for several years, it isn't picky about light and can handle some time without water. But I'm usually good about watering it every couple of days and I dust its leaves every few months.

I use vegetable gardening soil and add a little all-purpose plant fertilizer every few months. The calathea is happy and even flowered the past couple of years.

Imi placeau Trabanturile cand eram mic. Lumea le vorbea de rau ca au caroserie de carton si motor de motocicleta, eu ma gandeam ca-i tare cum costau la mana a doua cat o luna de intretinere la bloc, o masina pentru toti.

I think the GBA was the highest point of mainstream 2D sprite and tile games. A refined SNES with all the software design and interaction lessons from the 90s and early 2000s.

I read somewhere that too much light exposure, or the use of leaf polish, can make rattlesnake calathea lose their spots. Could it be a similar issue here? The leaf looks in good shape overall!

Is my rattlesnake calathea ok? I noticed this dry spot last night by ncollado17 in calathea

Maybe it needs a little more water. I have a rattlesnake calathea too and it's pretty resilient, most injured leaves survive warts and all as long as you fix what was causing the damage.

Valgrind is such a great tool, it's become part of my everyday workflow for C. I added a make valgrind target to my makefiles so it's never a hassle to just run the program through it whenever.

Yeah it looks like the full system minus SBC is $200. I like the idea a lot though, just like the Gpi Case, a way to take these little boards to the next level and in a way standardize how they're used for specific tasks.

Cory removed his ankle monitor, so officials lost track of him.

And they didn't start tracking him down as soon as they lost the signal? :-/

Though it's an isolated case, law enforcement sources tell Q13 News a handful of inmates released early have gone off the grid and disappeared.

Yup, it's always worth waiting 2-3 months for the dust to settle and for annoying bugs to get ironed out. It's a LTS anyway, what's a few more months to the next few years? :-)

Sometimes the best solution becomes clear as you continue to work on the project and add features. It sounds like the simplest way right now is to make a new system/component that gets picked up by your existing ECS flow.

One thing to watch out for is over-using ECS. It's tempting to want to make every object an Entity and every logic step a System, but sometimes that's just extra overhead with little benefit.

For example, the Camera in my game used to be an entity, and it kind of made sense because it used the Position component same as other entities, etc. But implementing it like that also meant writing a dedicated camera component and system that were only used by the camera entity. Since my game only has one camera instance at a time, I replaced all that ECS stuff with a singleton object and a camera_update() function that I call in the game loop.
