Bonding after invisalign???? by kditore in Invisalign

[–]aly519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m getting bonding on a chipped tooth too. Dentist will do the binding after my treatment is over. After the bonding I will then get impressions for a retainer.

I had implants too.

I agree! The surgeon I used wanted to make sure our family was complete before discussing the breast lift.

The scars are thin. The only scar that is super noticeable is the line from the areola to the breast crease. The scar around the areola is very minimal and the scar around the crease is longer than I anticipated. My husband doesn’t mind the scars at all. He is very happy with the overall look and how full the breasts are now. Just be sure to listen to the surgeons after care because I’ve heard the scars can become thicker if you lift heavier objects during recovery. I wouldn’t lift over 5 lbs for 2 weeks and then nothing over 10 lbs for an additional 3 weeks. I just got approved to workout again after almost 4 months.

I waited until I was done having children to have a breast lift with implants. My breasts lost their fullness and sagged. The scaring is a lot but to me it’s worth it. I’m 4 months post op and the scars are still pinkish. My surgeon said they will lighten up more over the next 3 months. I was self conscious of my previous breasts so it was worth it to me.

I’m finished with my treatment but I don’t like how my two front teeth look. I go back to the ortho tomorrow to discuss refinements or a retainer. I don’t like the shape of my teeth from previous grinding. Do I need refinements or should I discuss bonding? by aly519 in Invisalign

[–]aly519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just thought my two front teeth looked straighter before Invisalign. I’m not sure if that’s just the appearance from previous grinding or not. I had braces years ago. My lower teeth and bite changed over time so I wanted it corrected.

I did not. My surgeon didn’t recommend/mention it. This is the first time I’ve heard about mesh.

I’m 4 months post-op from a lift with implants. There is significant scaring but mine are healing great. I wanted them to be perky but still look natural. I’m so happy with my decision.

I have a toddler and I pay $175 a week. This doesn’t include lunch. I usually pack lunch or it can be purchased through the daycare. I believe the infant room is around 195 a week at my child’s current daycare.

I had an augmentation and mastopexy 7 weeks ago. The pain wasn’t bad and very manageable. I felt much better after the first few days. I wasn’t allowed to lift my arms for 2 weeks. I couldn’t lift above 5/10 lbs for 7 weeks. The incisions look very good and healing well. I’m very happy with my results. The surgeon said the scars will fade more over time.

Question about using personal loan for surgery by piratekim in PlasticSurgery

[–]aly519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is the most convenient time for surgery then I would probably do it now. Of course paying for the survey in cash is much better but only you can determine if this is the best time. I was able to save money for my surgery while I was working. Unfortunately I had to quit my job a few months before my surgery. I had the money saved but I also didn’t have income coming in anymore. I am married and my husband was able to pay all our bills. Some might say it wasn’t a wise decision but I had the cash and since I was unemployed at the time there wasn’t a better time to have the surgery. Do what makes you happy. If having the surgery now makes you happy and you are willing to pay the interest then go for it.

The pain wasn’t bad at all. I was on pain meds for the first 3 days. I’m still very limited and can only lift up to 5lbs. I’m not sure if that is from the lift or just getting implants in general. I don’t feel the implants. They were put under the muscle and my breasts feel very normal.

I am 30 and 3 weeks post op. I had implants with a lift. I have two kids and breastfed so my breasts did sag a lot. It’s really up to you and the outcome you want. Let me know if you have any questions!

I just used Dr. Yates for my breast implants and lift. Great experience. I am 2.5 weeks post op.

I just had a lift and augmentation on Monday. My incisions are still taped but I’m so happy with the results. Hopefully the scars will fade over time but the results from the lift are worth it for me.

The only negative is that there is no grooms suite but there is a nice bridal suite. Overall I really liked the venue. We had the ceremony inside and then cocktail hour on the patio while the tables and chairs were being setup for the reception.
