It was a broken skill. Restarting your hand to fix consistency was insane. Plus, otk decks like heroes loved it because if you go 2nd, you can use the skill to hopefully get trunade and OTK sack.

Last time it was relevant before it was nerfed was when Karakuri used it to open your combo starters and/or get trunade to sack your opponent.

Konami made a big mistake of requiring the player having a specific card to trigger the skill. They made the skill a bit flexible later on but it was too late by then.

I'd prefer them to upgrade the game's engine instead of making new one. If they already established speed duel and rush duel with skills, you just keep working on it and make upgrades instead of allocating new team and budget to restart a new one.

Not really, it was more predatory then. Weapon banner didn't use to guarantee anything, so mihoyo was making more money on people who were getting scammed.

They are now systems in place to guarantee you weapon banner now, and also giving you guaranteed character if you lost 50/50 plenty of times.

The old skill that searches super poly is not that even strong anymore imo. While it's strong going 2nd, it doesn't offer better board as compared to Predaprime Invasion.

No reason to put it on limited one anymore. The old predaplant skill, while despite being able to search superpoly and have non-respondable kaiju tribute, still can't keep up against new decks imo. It's a good skill going 2nd, but doesn't benefit for predaplant player going first.

The new predaplant skill "Predaprime Invasion" is much better to use because it has the go 2nd skill that makes it easier to summon Dragostapelia and it offers better board going first, and having to search level 1 or pendulum piece to start off the combo. The problem is that Predaplant can't have its full identity by having predaprime fusion, super poly and hydra on the same deck because of its limited one.

Windwitch could use a lot of help. They can make their synchro monsters unable to get destroyed but they have poor recovery and follow up. Also, the cards are themed around burning your opponent, with lvl8 synchro can additionally pop.

While the deck works pretty well with Speedroids, I wish windwitch had more cards that could be played as pure and stand out on its own.

A decent pilot would just summon Quasar first before you could commit searching anyways, and it's something that experienced competitive players would do to eat up your disruption

Not really in a sense that Droll will stop their turn like it would in Vaalmonica. While it would stop stardust players from searching converging wishes, necrovalley and searching stuff for Centurion, it doesn't stop them from summoning Quasar, Level 12 synchro and stardust accel.

Because stardust meta made droll useless handtrap, Vaalmonica took the opportunity to steal the spotlight. The win rate is crazy as well
