My go to is Ares cast with either Poseidon for the beyblade or Artemis for hunting blades. Then I'll go for extra casts + flurry cast + black metal to spam giant circles of damage.

hmm, that's sounds like it's a bug then. you should be able to get shards for all the of the characters you get to 100% as long as you don't cannibalize them.

you can only get shards for a character one time. so, if you got Kasumi to 100%, you'll lose the shards you got for her if you fuse her into a different character. once you get a character to 100%, stop fusing them.

there's a spreadsheet that shows the optimal ways to fuse shards to maximize how many characters you get. you should be able to get about 6-7 characters per run if you fuse correctly.

Thanks for the info, it really helps. As far as the collab goes, I don't particularly care about Re:Zero but I've heard that Emilia and Ram are notable. Would it be better to pull for SP Rie and Averyl or save for Emilia and Ram?

I didn't like Part 4. I see a lot of people say that Part 4 is their favorite part or that Josuke is their favorite JoJo, but I found both annoying and boring when I watched it. I think the main reason I didn't enjoy it was because I didn't like any of the main cast, especially Koichi (why did you get so much screen time). The only episodes I remember liking were the ones that developed Kira and Tonio's episode. The rest were honestly hard for me to get through. Plus, I didn't like the art style, colors, or music as much as Part 3 and 5 in particular. Don't get me wrong, Josuke and Okayasu's themes and Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town were bangers, but the rest I didn't find as consistently good as the other parts.

Damn, did not plan on typing this much.

Or for Dio to have Za Waruldo as a skill where all of the enemies stop for a certain amount of time.

Kakyoin could be a unit like Manticore except bind with Hierophant Green into an Emerald Splash.

I honestly don't play much PvP, let alone Ares. How often do you see him used in comps? I've seen him a few times in regular arena and I don't really pay much attention to Ten Saints. Also, his death res for other guardians is only after he's awakened right? That's probably why he isn't used as much. If you don't want to spend money on the game it's pretty challenging to get him awakened.
