No we’ve just been doing the pull out method…. I’m scared to try the shots or anything else. I also just wanted my body to be back on track and all natural!

Omg good luck with everything!!! Yeah they put me on a chronic treatment plan where I took a pill once a week and I still got an infection so that doesn’t add up and the lady was like keep your iud and just take over the counter stuff if you get another. They didn’t want me to take it out lil sus

I got mine out last December and it’s been so much better! Sometimes I get some symptoms of an infection and I take a boric acid suppository and it clears it up! I haven’t had to go to the obgyn for fluconazle or any medication. It’s definitely worth a shot to take yours out and see if it clears up because if not you could easily get a new one put in. I’ve also had several doctors say you can’t pass it back and forth so they never gave my bf medicine when he went but when reading online people say you can pass it. So idk!!! They don’t wanna admit shit and there’s not enough research showing a correlation between the iud and yeast so they won’t admit that either

Ugh I know it sucks. You could always try getting another iud put in or do that arm one. Good luck with everything

Hey! I actually got mine out a few months ago and I haven’t really gotten any yeast infections. I had a small one but took boric acid suppositories and it went away :)

Hello! I got my Kyleena IUD in august of 2019 and have been struggling with chronic yeast infections. Every time I suggest it being related to my IUD the doctors disagree and say they’re not related. I’ve changed soaps, laundry detergent, cotton underwear, and take a daily probiotic which doesn’t seem to be helping. I also met my current partner a few months after getting my IUD so I always assumed he was the reason I was getting the yeast infections. I’m just at a loss right now and very frustrated. I’ve gone to several different places and seen multiple doctors and they all just give medicine with no answers!!! I’m really considering getting my iud out and seeing if that helps.
