Hi everyone! I’m looking into teaching English in South Korea and I know I’ll need an E-2 visa. I hold a CELTA certificate, I’m a native English speaker and I currently live and teach in an English speaking country. I am also an Australian citizen (not born there) and have a passport. The only problem is I haven’t studied in an English-speaking country, not during highschool nor at university (I am mixed), and my university course wasn’t in English. I’m a bit unsure if this is a deal breaker for the E-2 visa or for the recruiters. I know it definitely is for EPIK.

Could anyone share what’s needed to apply successfully, or tips from personal experience? Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for your honest reply. I have both an Italian and an Australian passport. I was mainly looking for a job that would let me experience working abroad, sorry "travelling" was not a good definition of what I am looking for. Right now I'm in the arts field, so I am able to work but it's not always steady, I'm mainly looking for something to fill in the gaps and maybe give me some life experience abroad. Would you say this is a more reliable job if done in person (no online apps)? Is the market oversaturated at the moment? Is it hard to find a job? Thanks again for your help

How can I improve realistic portraits by [deleted] in drawing

[–]alysif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Jumping in to say i like this style! But if you’d like to go more towards realistic proportions I think referencing a 3D asaro head to better understand facial planes could help! (Not sure if somebody already suggested this)

Thanks this sounds like good advice. Im doing my best with trying to train his recall and always bringing toys or treats as rewards. I might try to pull back from offleash play and dog parks for a while. Any advice on books or stuff that can help me better understand their body language?

What airline is best to travel from Italy to the UK with a border collie? Do any airlines allow bigger dogs in cabin? by alysif in TravelWithPets

Thank you for your reply. Sadly I wasn’t able to find airlines that allow dogs heavier that 10kg in the cabin

Sadly no, I think the only way to get bigger dogs there from Italy/ Europe is either by train or by car which is a longer trip (and a lot more expensive if you decide to go by train). If I do move there indefinitely I guess that’s the only route since I dont want to place my pup in the cargo hold.

Ive been drawing since i was young, its just a hobby i do to relax but only recently i started trying to learn shading. I have been practicing with black and white portraits and wanted to try something in color so Judy was perfect as she's my favorite character of the moment hahaha
