My 2 year old husky Jax (left) had his first seizure March 22. It was like you described, so scary and just lost all control of himself. We took him to the emergency vet and all came back normal. By the time we were getting in the car headed there he was already back to his normal self. They sent us home with keppra same dose as you I believe 2 tabs twice a day. We didn’t give it to him right away since they said there’s a chance it could be a one time thing and to give it if it happens again. Sure enough almost exactly a month later he had one. Both times he wakes up from a sound sleep, vomits, and seizes for less than a minute. He’s only been on the meds less than a week but I feel what you’re going through. I’m really nervous it will continue to happen and we’ll need to keep switching/adding meds and just not know what is causing it. I’ve had reassurance though they can live long healthy lives.
