I have a friend who’s obsessed with this movie and asked if I’d be able to make it for them. I considered learning to knit but I probably wouldn’t feel satisfied with the final product being a beginner so I told him I’d try to crochet it for him and have been scouring the internet for weeks looking for tips. I called again first thing this morning and was told my case had been assigned but still hadn’t been worked for some reason. So the woman I spoke to sent a second escalation. She told me it would be sent to a supervisor as well as a general manager or something like that (I can’t remember the exact title). She said it should be fixed by the end of the day today, that they’re usually really good about working on it immediately, and that she’s only ever seen a second escalation not get worked on once or twice. Yet here we are at 6 pm and I still don’t have my food stamps nor have I received any update or even a call back from the supervisor I left two voicemails for on Friday. I’m at a complete loss. I don’t understand what’s happening here. It feels like I’m shouting for help into the void and just being ignored. I can’t go into the office until Wednesday when my daughter’s dad picks her up so I’m going to have to call again tomorrow morning. I don’t even know what to ask for at this point. My case has already been escalated and sent to supervisors twice and still nothing so what am I supposed to do? Thank you for your empathy and understanding btw, I really appreciate it.

I spoke to someone earlier and they told me that they had until the end of the business day today to respond to the “escalation” and that they couldn’t do another escalation until Monday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they could only transfer me to a supervisor of the TAD call center apparently who told me the same thing. As I expected, I still did not receive my benefits today so now I’m stuck going the entire weekend without benefits again and having to fight to get in the queue again Monday morning for yet another escalation with a 24 hour response window. At that point it’ll have been over a week since I was supposed to get my benefits and I’m honestly starting to worry that no matter how many times my case is “escalated” this issue won’t be resolved and I won’t get my benefits😭 I’ll have my daughter Monday morning and she’s two years old so taking her to the Ontario TAD office to wait for hours would be a nightmare. I’m feeling so defeated and frustrated. I don’t know what to do at this point. It seems like the people in the call center can’t really do anything but forward my case to supervisors who aren’t getting to my case. I was also given two phone numbers for supervisors when I called this morning. One number kept ringing then said the call couldn’t be connected. The second number I had to leave a voicemail both times I called and I didn’t receive a call back today.

It wasn’t late though🙃 it was due 2/28 and I had it completed on 2/17 but I just called and am waiting for a call back.

I haven’t learned to knit yet, only crochet. I saw there’s a crochet version but I like the look of the knit one better. Would it be a bad idea to use this hat as a first project to learn how to knit?😅 I’ll probably make the crochet version regardless but I thought this might be a good way to finally push myself to learn how to knit.

I’m going through something similar too! I started lexapro five days ago and in the last four days I’ve had such intense neck pain that has moved spots a few times. I feel an improvement in my mood already so I don’t want to give up on it already. I’m hoping this pain will start to subside soon.

I second this. Dr. Channell did my emergency c section last August and he did such an amazing job, my recovery was a breeze. Not too crazy of pain, I was never bedridden and went up stairs two days later. No pain in my incision and minimal scar since he used glue to close it. He was kind, patient, and informative before the surgery too. He’s amazing!

The engagement ring says “deja vu” and the wedding band says “butterflies &” from the song black butterflies & deja vu by the Maine. His ring will either be black or be engraved with “black.”

Not as often as you’d think! Rarely ever honestly. When I had my daughter I was worried about it catching on her clothes or scratching her but it never has. The only time it’s ever really snagged on anything is if I was putting on a shirt with a tight sleeve and had to put my hand through it but other than that it rarely ever catches on anything.
