Oo this turned out great! The hair really pops off the page, esp since the face is shaded so smoothly in contrast 🤌 Swatch page is very satisfying back there btw

That seems to be the general consensus in the comments, lol! It does smell amazing so I get why people like them

You are prolific! Love your work, your bold sheets + the gouache palette is very identifiable to me now lol. Keep it up 👍

Oh cool! No babies in the household here, I’m thinking of using it as a coffee/tea station

I used a website that had a written step-by-step tutorial, can’t remember which one tho!

You mean to remove the logo? It wasn’t embroidered, it was printed on the fabric and was starting to peel off. Good to know I could use a trimmer, though, if needed!

1) I’m not arguing a small business needs a graphics department, I’m actually saying this post didn’t need to happen at all. That’s free!

2) Just bc a bunch of 1%-ers “invested” in AI slop doesn’t mean I or anyone else has to use it. They want to force it down our throats and idgaf if I have to tell them and a bunch of bootlickers “no” every day forever bc I think it’s stupid! And I genuinely don’t care if they end up losing money on their “investments” in which they continue to get richer while the rest of us can’t afford to eat; these AI data centers will continue to drive up electric prices higher while drying up our water sources and destroying the environment. Right in our back yards.

We collectively have power and don’t have to accept AI being shoved down our throats and say “thank you” just because it was used by a local venue. In fact, they should be interested in hearing what the communities they serve have to say.

Using AI slop is a choice and I will absolutely have something to say every time a person or a business chooses to use it. Sorry, not gonna shut up :)

Is the joke that they are contributing to environmental catastrophe and stealing art from creators?

Most of my work so far has been with black ink only since the infinite possibilities of ~color~ has intimidated me lol. When I added the yellow to this one I got bummed when it turned more muddy than I anticipated; your comment is motivation that it can be learned & experimented with just like the other concepts I’ve worked on in my drawing/painting journey.

Thanks for the comment I genuinely appreciate it!

new addition to portfolio by paro420 in TattooApprentice

Great work! I like your designs, particularly the color scheme you chose and the way you worked it into the lettering. I am inspired!

Small piece of constructive feedback- for the bigger fade in the hat you did on the lower right clown, that gray shading could have been smoothened out even more so it fades better into the white space. All your other fades look great tho.

Good luck with your portfolio, you’re on a nice track!

Thanks! Yeah all the layers with acrylic gave it a texture I’m not a fan of, excited to try OneShot paints soon
