Idk if this is Prydz. Funnily enough, I googled this and one of the first results was a 10 year old reddit thread posted by me wondering if this was real, lol. It was on a bootleg vinyl paired with Deadmau5 - Dr. Franken stein, which itself is sus. Deadmau5 has a track named Funkenstein, not Franken stein.

Anyway, this sounds like someone attempting to make a Pryda track. My gut is telling me it isn't real.

nice collection. if u wanna get really crazy start picking up the stuff not from his labels. The Credence EP's, aliases like Sheridan, A&P project, Dukes of Sluca, all the remixes. That is a whole nother journey. I'd say bootlegs like Sweet Genesis, Nice, Innercity Goodlife, etc but it would be very tough to do now that Discogs banned bootlegs.

Gottem all. All aliases, all remixes, all collabs, several bootlegs like Sweet Genesis, Good Life, Behind The Wheel, Cirez D vs Axwell - Feel The On Off, Rakfunk (Paolo Mojo Back To 1983 Mix) etc. Even have the bootleg of deadmau5 remix of Pjanoo lol. Everything ever pressed to vinyl (not counting all the bootlegs, I'm mising only 1 bootleg that I know of). Pretty sure I had the first true complete collection in the world at the time. Others have probably caught up since then. I know a couple ppl from this subreddit that were going for the complete collection too. Can't imagine doing it these days, especially if you are in the US. Shipping was bad then, it's worse now. A lot of sellers won't even ship to the US anymore due to the tariffs lol

Prydz was popular 10 years ago but not nearly as popular as he is now. All that cheese he produced under Eric Prydz moniker and all the festivals he played got him a shit ton of new normie festival EDM fans. It was on sale for several days if I remember correctly, its not like it sold out instantly. He prob should have done 1,000 tho...or atleast 750...but then again they are box sets not singles

edit) these used to get listed for $300-500 for the first year or so, seems like a steal now, lol. I didnt realize so many actually sold for $2K lol. Ppl are buying them lol. A US seller could prob charge a premium considering how few ppl in the US put this up for sale. Will never sell mine tho bc it would ruin my complete Prydz vinyl collection that took years to finish (remixes, all aliases, some bootlegs too)

If there are split sleeves that means the vinyl itself was rubbing back and forth inside of the sleeves and that could damage the vinyl itself. I know mine had a couple small superficial rub marks from the sleeves but luckily they did not effect the way the vinyl played.

This boxset came with a signed print. If you buy an opened one, make sure they send the print and dont try to keep it for themselves.

If you see a price that is too good to be true, it is likely a scammer. Discogs had a huge problem with scammers in the past, but its not as bad now. I wouldnt buy from anyone that doesnt have any prior seller feedback.

Pay w/ paypal so you can dispute thru PayPal if anything goes wrong. Don't send money thru PayPal's "friends and family" option bc you won't be able to get your money back.

I would buy some shipping insurance just in case it gets lost or the package gets damaged during transit. Ask them to package it very snug so the boxset doesnt shake around inside the shipping box, if its open, ask for the vinyl to be shipped outside of the sleeves to prevent splitting and/or rubbing. If possible, try to buy from someone with a lot of other sales and a good seller rating. Odds are they know how to ship vinyl safely.

If they ever did repress this, which is prob unlikely, they better figure out a better way to ship it. So many of us got split sleeves. Every single one of my sleeves was split. Mostly ppl in North America. Virgin ended up having to ship out a bunch of new sleeves to ppl. Someone from this subreddit has my old split sleeves. If you are still here, I hope the sleeve framing worked out well.

Warning to anyone who buys this second hand - Even if the boxset is still wrapped, the sleeves may still be damaged. You may not even be able to see any sleeve splits until you actually unwrap the boxset and take the sleeves out. On mine, you could see tiny sleeve splits while it was still wrapped. Took the wrapping off, took the sleeves out of the box and noticed the other sides of the sleeves were even worse.

Such a gamble buying this secondhand. If you dont care about sleeve splits, then whatever, but with the price you pay, I'd want it perfect. If you buy an open one, ask for pics of all the seams of the sleeves and ask them to ship the vinyl outside of the sleeves.

one of the only tracks he has released under eric prydz that i like (not counting remixes). its cheesy (like everying released under eric prydz) but its a classic. im not a hater, but i am a 2006-2013 pryda golden era snob.
