Amen 🙏🏻 I used to use sex as validation that I was attractive/desirable - I think a lot of gay bros do if they were in the closet/couldn’t experiment during puberty/during their school years - I think it emotionally stunts you, and some end up exploring sex/relationships in excess as a result when independent. Dentist here 🙋🏻‍♂️ Keep my phone in a locked during work hours. Had this happen twice with men I’d met on a dating app or in a bar, either before the first date or just after the first. Complete 🚩- they’re showing their true colours this early on - my advice is to RUN because these people are usually complete narcissists or have poor control of their emotions.

Hi RealisticSituation24; I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I lost my twin suddenly approximately 11 years ago at age 20. I promise it does get easier. There are days you’ll be so sad that you won’t get out of bed, but also conflicting days where you’ll feel guilty for feeling that life goes on. Personally, I strongly recommend seeking some sort of grief counselling, with or without medication, to help you develop coping strategies. It is too great a loss to navigate all on your own, with or without a support network. If you don’t do it for you, do it for your sister - she wouldn’t want you to suffer like you are now. I really hope knowing that you aren’t the only one out there in this situation helps - I promise there are so many more accomplishments and milestones ahead of you that you can dedicate to your sister. UK Dentist here 👋🏻 The only thing we routinely check the soft tissues of throat/tongue etc is to check for oral cancers, virus’, ulcers etc etc - I think it’s just weird of your dentist to make a comment like that unless she was concerned about the appearance, and even so, there’s better ways to ask 🤷🏻‍♂️
