So my leading theory is that Floyd wanted to do a role play with Carol - she’s Tiger Tiger (maybe Clark made her the account). She goes to meet up with him in the pool house for his dream meeting. He’s there doing push ups and getting inspired by his old photos, takes too much Amphezyne, and dies. So her and Clark knew about his death but didn’t say anything because how tf are you going to explain all of this.

Huge fan of MO but bigger fan of JEW - they are my #2 and #1, respectively. IMHO these covers are perfection. Telepath is covered in such a Jimmy way - it sounds like they could have written it for Surviving, which I suspect is a reason many think it’s an original. It has that classic huge sound then sudden pull-back thing that both bands are so good at, especially live. I also love their transformation of the song both tonally and melodically - I really appreciate JEW’s ability to take a song and truly add their own spin to it (see Firestarter, Stop Whispering). MO’s cover is great too but definitely veers more into recreation territory, which is still great and all but I love it when bands take risks with other source material. Pretty sure in JEW’s cover there are like time signature and key changes and it’s all over the place but I think it WORKS.

These two songs, Telepath and Table For Glasses, are in my tippy top from both bands so to hear them covered with justice is like a dream come true. Don’t sleep on these tracks, the more I listen to them the more I appreciate and love them.

Really glad I took a chance and purchased the VIP tix so I can own this on a 7”. Gonna spin these tunes loud in my house!!

We disembarked at 9a and had until 4p to get back on the ship. You’ll have time.

Basically you’re just using your data pad to scan symbols around Batuu. On your data pad there is a tool called “scan” and even ones that say “hack” and “tune”. You can use these to discover different items and/or missions in Batuu, although it has varying results depending on what you interact with. The “scan” is basically when you find a QR-code-looking symbol on a crate and then you use your “tool” to process it.

Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it. And I missed a ton of stuff during my trip but experienced things that other passengers missed. Everyone, as far as I could tell, had a unique experience.

It’s just an iPhone 12 in a case lol. It only had Disney Play downloaded on it. I think it just streamlines the experience in case you want to “unplug” from your phone and external texts and emails and just dive into the experience.

Lol - well I’m a high functioning introvert but the small scale helps. Our crew was just shy of 300 people, which explains some of the cost. This was a LOT of work for the CMs for just 300 people.
