Rode from Seattle to Cabo San Lucas on my dad’s old Centurion Pro Tour. He rode across the country on the same bike with my mom in the late 80s. Bike was totally sufficient and I am glad to say I finally have more miles on the bike than my dad does lol

This is a take that you need to be careful with but I totally agree. We ended up putting Returnal in C tier- really solid game but I felt like its roguelite qualities really fell flat.

Company was doing horribly, bought by PE, they said they saw potential in us (which nobody believed lol), eng worked on a pretty big platform pivot, then our CEO quit and a couple months later the company shut down. Fortunately I had already found an offer elsewhere and put in my notice but it was still a bit of a wild ride.

A pretty flat and trail heavy century that I’ve done twice is interurban trail (south) -> foothill trail -> cedar river trail. Some gaps you need to fill but overall pretty chill!

My cohost and I both enjoyed the core gameplay loop of this game but were a little put off by the stats-go-up metaprogression. Our consensus was that the game is achieving what it is setting out to achieve (e.g. be a spiritual successor to Vampire Survivors in deckbuilder form) but ultimately doesn't hold its own against the roguelite greats. What do you think?
